I stayed in this cosy hotel for two weeks, everything was perfect. What I love the most about this hotel the front desk staff, who makes you feel like you are home Antonio, lara, Ahmad & Juan, they all super friendly and welcoming, always there to help. They deserve big thanks for exceptional service specially Antonio 👏

The hotel is very central - it's easy to get basically everywhere by foot, and also there's a metro station 3 minutes walk from the hotel and another metro station about 7 minutes walk from the hotel. The street is quiet and the sound proofing for outside noise was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and also the pillows. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily including changing the towels. The room was spacious, decorated with taste and the furniture and bathroom utilities were all brand new. The lighting in the room was good. Hotel rooms tend to be dark and here this was not the case. The curtains blocked light from outside pretty well. The staff was very helpful and welcoming, the receptionist even gave us little treats for the way when we waited for our taxi to the airport at 5am. Excellent value for money and highly recommended!

Two things: 1. The sound proofing for the corridor was pretty much non existant... We could hear everything. 2. Twice I found hairs in my towel. It was obvious that the towel was laundered and cleaned, but I would suggest taking a closer look before putting towels in the rooms :)

Super-clean and fresh room, towels, bedding, nice modern interior, the thermostat worked well, the room was cleaned every day, a very good soundproofing, a kettle with tea & coffee in the room, a steamer and a hairdryer in the room, elevators, the staff are super-friendly, helpful and speak English fluently. On our last day we were staying around a while after the checkout, so we used the code-protected lockers for our luggage in the hotel (free of charge). The location is fantastic, in the old town, and the neighborhood feels safe for foreigners, the major sights and restaurants are within walking distance. Supermarkets and the metro nearby (but we didn’t need to use the metro though). We had a room with a terrace on the top floor - it was very nice and was worth paying a little extra.

The hotel is nice we got a room with king bed and a terrace, the room itself was a bit small but the terrace was really nice and spacious It’s in a good location and can get to most attractions walking but not very central, the street itself around the hotel is quiet but doesn’t have a lot of cafes and restaurants, so you’d need to walk a bit It’s clean and comfortable and convenient for the price Special thanks to Antonio, he really assisted during our stay

Some basic necessities like slippers for example were missing The street around the hotel is a bit empty at night

The room is clean and the size is fine for one person. It also has Netflix so it is a bonus for me. The hotel is close to a Metro station but on a quiet lane away from noisy restaurants and bars. I walked to the main attractions instead of using the train. I found a lane with great brunches so I was happy. I won't have gone there if I was not staying nearby. Genuinely friendly staff at the reception who speak English well.

Hard to think of something that bothered me. I guess little things such as not having a safe, not having tissues and the deco in the room can be quite dark, may bother more to others.

We loved our stay at BYPILLOW Crosstown. The staff was really friendly and understanding. Our flight was delayed until the next morning and they did not charge us a no show fee. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is quite good as well. Very easy check in process and the WiFi works great.

The only thing I didn’t love about this hotel is the lack of common spaces (like bar, or lobby with sofas to wait for Ubers). There’s a sofa at reception but it gets quite busy. The hotel does not offer breakfast, only some coffee and biscuits in the room. Location wise if you come back really late night, the area can get funny - but is not that big of a deal.

I loved the location - lively but not too busy area of Madrid with many locals, still in walking distance to many sights. Quiet mainly pedestrian small street. There is a friendly 24h reception. It's all extremely clean. Room was well equipped with shelves and wardrobe in small space. I thought design and colours were of good taste. Bed was very comfortable, shower worked very well. I thought it was good value for money, particularly if not on your own but sharing the room.

I can't remember anything that wasn't as I would expect from an inner city hotel. In fact, I booked at same Bypillow chain for second stay in Madrid, but in a different area - and I have to say Bypillow Crosstown was still much better

The location is wonderful, you can easily walk to Plaza Mayor, Palacio Real, Gran Via, El retiro - it's an amazingly positioned hotel. Metro station 2mins away. Very clean room, the temperature is easily adjustable; toiletries, coffee, tea, free water, all there. The staff was incredibly kind and warm. There is a floor with luggage lockers where you can leave your stuff. No breakfast option, but Madrid is full of brunch restaurants, and you will enjoy taking your pick.

It's not a big deal, but I really missed having a chair in the room; this way, the only spot you can sit on is the bed.

Excellent location, easy walking distance to major sights. Lovely traditional Spanish grill & modern rustic coffee shop/bakery within a minute's walk from accommodation. Central but quiet location. Compact, functional room, with comfortable beds, lovely big shower and large bath towel provided. Kettle, tea & coffee provided and replenished. Fridge with bottle of water provided and topped up as needed. Helpful, friendly staff on reception. Luggage lockers provided in the basement.

I loved the location, staff and the aesthetic colour choice for the decoration of the rooms. It was great for a solo stay. There are hidden speciality coffee shops along the tiny streets that one would normally pass by without seeing. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I don’t remember sleeping that well for a long time. No problems at all with hot water in the shower, everything works perfectly and I loved the hair dryer as it is really hard to escape the oldest-fashined wall-hanging hair dryers in Europe. The TV has so many options from Netflix to other VoD platforms. You can either sign in with your own credentials or select from the existing options.

The housekeeping woke me up at 8.30 am to clean the room which I found rare. It was quite early and I really needed to sleep more. Although I said that I was going to check out in a few hours and do not want any cleaning, they came back asking for a second time, so I could not go back to sleep. When I said no again they told me to put the “do not disturb” card outside the door.
