The bed and the pillows are the most comfortable ones I've ever had. I want them for my own home! The decor is very modern and safe. The kitchen is very big and clean. The fridge is large and dispenses water. The lower level toilets have bidets. The location is fantastic. Easily walk to any of the trendy major neighborhoods with fantastic food and drink. Close to the Tirso de Molina station.

The bathroom facilities are small. The sink is small, the stalls for the toilet are small, the stalls for the showers are small. Some of the shower controls were broken. There is no natural light (but that's made clear from the beginning). There are a lot of families with kids that stay at this hostel, so you will have to hear kids a lot. The hostel is not very social because of this.

It’s very central to all the must see’s of Madrid. It’s so central that it’s a 10 minute walk to everything. There is also a subway stop half a block away in Plaza Tirso de Molina.

Walls are paper thin, you can literally listen clearly to the conversation goin on in the rom next to you. I was even treated to some hanky-panky wall shaking and sounds. Also they don’t really “clean” the sheets by putting new ones on, the use a vacuum cleaner to “clean the sheets”. There was always at least one bathroom that was out of order, and if you staying downstairs, it’s the basement so there are no windows, nor natural light coming in.

- Small washbasins, all the water when washing is poured onto the floor. - The water only works when your hand is near the sensor; washing is very inconvenient. - Small showers, no place to put your shampoo. - We were told that there were lockers in the capsule, but they did not work. In the morning they showed us that there was a key at the reception. I didn’t understand what this meant, either they didn’t give us a key, or they didn’t understand that it didn’t work electronically …

They had a well equipped kitchen, 24/7 reception, they cleaned the bathrooms very often and the ambient was good. The location is also good, with restaurants, markets, cafés and a metro station nearby.

The bathroom was really really small, but at least the shower was awesome. We've been to other modular rooms that had an extra space where you could stand up inside your cabin, but this one doesn't have. The entire room is occupied by the mattress and you can only be seated inside there. Because of this, there was no private place where we could change clothes.

Location was perfect as there are 2 nearby metros (walking distance). They have clean toilets and the shower is separate, which is a convenience. They have the'Observe Silence' sign, which is very appropriate, I must say, especially if you want to sleep or rest in quiet. Also, a plus for me is that they have tv's provided in each bed space with Netflix, Youtube and stuff.

Nothing. For me, the place and experience was perfect for the price we paid.

This is probably the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. The decor was very modern and trendy with a lot of thought and detail put in. The staff were very helpful with someone always on reception. Although the majority of people staying were there for the Mad Cool Festival there wasn't a lot of noise, it was very quiet. The location is excellent and 30 seconds walk to one of the main streets for cafes and shops plus a Lidl.

It would be super helpful to have hooks in the room. Just somewhere to hang your damp towel or your jacket as there were none.

Great value for money. A super cool experience. Very clean and surprisingly spacious within.

The showers were tiny with only two hooks to put your belongings on. Had to put everything else on the floor where there was already limited space to stand. The capsule also got a bit stuffy regardless of the air vents. We ended up leaving our door open a bit to allow for the cold air from the Aircon outside to get in.

I have stayed two times at Modular Rooms. Pretty good concept of individual cabins for a couple in bulk. The module has everything you need, shared toilets and showers very clean, located near to a metro station and a walking distance from Plaza Mayor.

The module could turn pretty hot at night.

Perfect place to stay for one or more nights. Capsulas have ventilation and TV inside and plenty of soccets. Enough of showers on teo floors. There is a nice kitchen area downstairs where you can hang out any time of the day without disturbing other people. Also friendly helpful staff available 24/7.

Locker didnt work properly. Otherwise nothing to complain about! I am a happy customer ;)

Modules were a great idea and the lighting options were spot on. nice kitchen, close to metro and walking distance to main sites. great showers and nice staff. front desk open 24/7 and they provide towels.

lockers being in front of the entrance door was not at all convenient and if you had to get in there while someone else was also getting their bags and stuff, you’d have to wait. rooms could use better ventilation for the shoe smells.
