I love the room, pretty clean. The bed very comfortable. The bathroom has a funny smell, I believe it came from the curtain. Other than that, the hostal was fine. It was at the centre which was easy to move around to important historical places. The metro of Gran Via was 4 blocks away from the hostal. Great place to stay for a couple days.

My only thing about the hostal was that, we have to check-in ourselves. It was a little disturbing.

The beds are great(literally I want one for my own home), location is great(most important attractions get to the point that it's easier to walk than bothering with the metro), Service was great before, during and after our stay.

Very few negatives, only thing I would add(sort of nitpicking) they should include some type of kettle in the room, for some is useless but for others is a godsend. It's true what some people say also about the noise, however people around are conscious about that and behave themselves at night. I am willing to trade the sound at night for the location any day.

The staff were incredibly nice. The bed was comfortable. The room was extremely basic but had everything we needed for just one night. The neighborhood couldn't get any better and the price was right.

The walls were very thin and we could hear every word that the neighbors were saying which was kind of awkward. The rooms could use some updating/are in a bit of rough shape but everything worked fine and was clean.

The room was sufficient for the purpose of our trip. It was very clean which is what is most important to me.

I was a bit taken aback by the location of the property at first. I think mention needs to be made that it is in a highly popular area where there is an extensive amount of people ( typically those of the LGBTQ community) at all times as well as a huge “partying” atmosphere. For me it was fine but maybe for others ( families with young children) it may be a problem.

the room is very clean and it suprice me that during the day the cleaning woman cleaned the room and put new bedding. my private things was put in bed and was fresh when i came back

i loved everything perfect location, perfect shops and near to swedish embassy..i fully recomend the perfume shop near by

The gentleman at the front desk was terrific and helpful. He spoke English better than I do. We would stay there again without hesitation.

A bigger bathtub, however, the shower worked just fine.

Very responsible staff and excellent location. Right in the center of Madrid, we used public transport only once during 8 days.

Rooms are too small, but if you spent most of the time outside its OK.

Amazing place to stay in the middle of the Madrid action! Near everything, discreet, secure, clean, I will come back to this hostel every time I come to Madrid.

I should say that some guests don't respect the "silence suggestion" in the brochure between 10 pm to 8 am as a logical reason to respect the other guests rest, sometimes they (guests) speak loudly at 3am and the sleeping is interrupted, but I understand that that scapes from the Hostel's hands. Maybe a specific warning when they check in and another big sign inside the room could help to reduce this little issue I experimented. The rest was amazing.

Great location All clean Bed is Ok Easy and quick check in

The room is tiny but still Ok. There was a fire alarm in the building one evening (no real fire, probably somebody lighted up a cigarette), the guard came to check only after we called him on the phone and didn’t even know how to properly reset the alarm :/.

The room was very comfortable, bright, clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again. They even tidied up the second day.

The cleaner could have emptied the trash can when tidying up the bathroom. Also, the shower gel appliance is better for washing your hands but completely unsuitable for shower.
