Motion Chueca

The female dorm was great and calm. The breakfast was also carried out in a way that it was quick and efficient.

My luggage got lost during my flight to Madrid and the reception did not agree to receive it when the airport arranged a delivery. So I had to spend one whole day sitting at the reception waiting for my bag to be dropped off even though I told them I wouldn't hold them responsible for anything after taking my bag. That was very frustrating.

Dorm with ensuite bathroom is always a great concept. The location in Chueca is perfect with many amazing restaurants around and many metro stations nearby. The room and bathroom are always clean. The free breakfast is perfect to start your day and the staff especially Davier is attentive and helpful. The price is also very cheap that I ended up staying for more days. This is definitely my first choice of hostel when I come back to Madrid.

The centralised AC can be pretty cold at night. I had to go down to the reception at 5am to request for a thick blanket.

Close to everything, clean, simple place to stay for 1 to 3 nights...

I stayed in a room with 4 beds and beds are not private. At least should have curtain so we close it when sleeping more private since every day 1 new person or few people checkin and out. I would give 10 stars but beds not private all open and sleeping not comfy as snealy girls or guys watch. Or else room had lockers thats cool. Plus the ladies never changed my bed sheets for 5 to 6 nights there.

The general area was superb. lots of space and aesthetic. Breakfast was good too.

Too much wait/delay in the check in. receptionist seemed overwhelmed.....and everybody frustrated. The bathrooms were not so great.....wet grumpy smelly rags on the floor. To make matters worse, when it tries to dry off by its' soggy self, the stain on the floor becomes double messy. That was what i was greeted with by the way, and trust me, I'm a regular of various hostels and hotels, even outside of booking.com, whose aestheics are not as great (atleast on the outside, but they do keep the rooms and bathrooms clean, FREQUENTLY!) They need to get cleaners to check in and change them more frequently.....like twice or, hell, even thrice a day. Every other thing was ok though.....plus the lift was much appreciated.

The location, close to the museums and other places of interest, my room, my bed, the big lounge downstairs where you can sit and relax in complete peace, the excellent breakfast which is included, the staff.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Staff they didn't how to deal with people, I reserve for my tow friends, my friends they didn't speak Spanish and the man who attended tham ,he talked very bad with my friends in Spanish, tham I talk to him plz thay are your customer's and they're going to pay plz talk to them with respect

Hostel yes but staff was very rude

very clean, beds are ok, they also have lockers to leave your stuff (it costs 5 euro every 24 hours), breakfast is good, location is good,really close to city centre

they just gave me a card and didn't even tell me how to get to my room, signs are a little bit confusing but the place is very nice

PRICE / LOCATION / BREAKFAST - Price was very reasonable for a budget conscious traveller. - Location is in Chueca (Plaza Zerolo), very near to supermarkets, restaurants and bars. - Breakfast was included. - The lady during breakfast was very accommodating, she was very considerate even if it was almost beyond 10am.

the two girls who worked at the reception were not nice and never smiled to us even though we kept it cool the whole time. but the guy whom I can remember his name was so polite, attentive and kind. his English was perfect as well.

Location, clean, bed

Quantity of luggage store at the reception is too low for too many hóspedes. Lack of toilet out of bedrooms. You can't leave your luggage there before your check in time
