Hotel El Faro Marbella does exactly what it says on the tin, it’s centrally located and extremely close to the beach and old town. Rooms are big, clean, and the beds are comfortable. Air-con working and lots of hot water. Staff friendly and efficient. Good value, especially in Marbella!

Some aspects of the interior are a little tired. Could be noisy at times, but I still slept well.

Excellent location. It was near and walking distance to everything :) Hotel has a parking garage with 8 places, but it was quite small, so if you don't have a small car, check first. Pool area was OK.

We had a room on street side, which was quite noisy, with traffic and a few pubs/restaurants. Pool side is probably less noisy in night. Not enough stuff in kitchen. Needs cutting board, dish brush, washing-up liquid. No gear to make you own coffee, unless waterboiler and nescafe is enough for you. No toilet brush in bathroom. All "views" mentioned in room descriptions are a bit misleading. In total, all "views" exists at hotel, but some rooms seems too have too many "views" listed.

Great location. Staff excellent. Very large room. Requested duvet in advance and was supplied as requested. Free welcome drinks a nice gesture.

Not one English channel available. Over 50 channels available in all languages except English. All sun loungers need to be replaced as nearly all beds had damaged/ badly worn fabric. Pool area is tired and news upgrade.

The room was a very good size with lots of natural lights from the balcony windows. The location was central and on a nice side road. The back area with the chairs was nice and relaxing.

The bathroom was a little small. The corridors require you to manually press a timed light - would be nicer if this was automatic (i.e. motion sensitive).

My wife have been going to El faro hotel for the last 6 vacations. Everything is right. Location ie 2 minute walk to the promenade where all the bars and restaurants are and 10 minute walk the other direction for Orange square. More bars and restaurants along with local stores among the narrow streets.

If i was to pick a negative. It would be the apartments are a little tired, however, everything still in good order. Just a lick of paint and slight upgrade. This didn't deter or hinder our stay there. We loved it and the staff are five star.

Location was amazing, 2 minute stroll to the beachfront and 10 minute walk to the Old Town. Room far exceeded my expectations, it was far better than some 4* hotels I've stayed in Spain before. The staff were great, couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Would rush back here if I visit the region again.

Very decent three star hotel the staff was very professional and friendly there is parking for very small cars the complimentary drink offer at check in is a very nice touch and as we were a group of three they set us up in a suite with a living and separate bedroom and that was really pleasant and the accommodation was clean and spacious which made it perfect for our group air conditioning worked great the bathroom was clean functional with lots of hot water and excellent pressure in the shower which puts it at the top of the three star classification in my book

The outdoor terrace furniture was covered in bird droppings which reduced the seating options and made it less comfortable than it could be, my bed mattress felt hard, the parking fee is 15€ be warned that if you decide to park you need good precision skill and a very small and manoeuvrable car as space is very limited although we managed to get in and out with no damage if you travel extensively in Spain with your car then you know how narrow and difficult parking garages can be but if you do not have experience with them avoid them (if they warn you, brace yourself for the challenge)

Great location indeed - 5 mins walking distance to the beach. The staffs were friendly, there’s a female receptionist with glasses gave us an early check in and room upgrade (the bday girl is haaappy). Welcome drinks is something i did not expect, feel really welcomed. The room is spacious, clean and cozy. Parking at affordable price - 15€

Netflix should have an account log in so we could get to watch them at night. Parking is a bit old and narrow, feeling dark and scary when going to the parking alone.

The room was very comfortable, lovely big bed. Room cleaned every day. Sheets changed a few times a week. Spotless. Great wee kitchen in the room. Nice to wake up to a cuppa in the bed. 😍

We were on the roadside, extremely noisey. OMG the birds, the car reving, the car alarms, the shouting and laughing from the restaurants on the street. We slept soundly on the beach every day. Exhausted. 😬

location was ideal, very close to the beach and only 10 minute walk to the old town. The staff was very accommodating as we showed up early at noon for our check-in and were most welcomed. The room was suitably large with AC,refrigerator and a terrace.

These are mild negatives and did not affect our stay. We did not have much of a view,overlooking the pool and local pedal ball courts. The parking(15 €/night) at the hotel was tight. You will need a small car to use the onsite parking. That been said, the hostess recommended we see it first before giving it a try. After much maneuvering, we managed to park our rental (Renault Captur)
