Room 223 was clean but the towel rack+ plus the plugs on wall of the bedroom were not fixed correctly, plus the spot light was flashing, so we had to use the wall light I liked the room one other thing the shower tray needs a rubber grip as in the shower slippery easily, The breakfast also need to be hotter especially. Scrambled eggs and the baked beans where cold , this is what I experienced but I love the location it's a pity you have no parking but my friends said they also love the location. , fresh orange juice is a little watery these are the faults that I experienced

Location and shops

The location of this hotel is fantastic! There’s a taxi rank opposite the front door, the beach is a short walk away, the old town is on the back doorstep and puerto banus is only 10 minutes in a taxi. Breakfast was great too, plenty on offer especially if you’re like me and prefer to go for the cold options.

There was no promise of a terrace but it would be great to know whether you are assigned to a room with one or not before arriving. Granted, I’m sure if we requested one prior we may have been accommodated. (We ended up quite happy with no terrace as most seemed to be on the busy street and we were the old-town side). The shower smelt a little like chlorine but otherwise was clean and the actual water was fine so it might just be the cleaning products.

Very nice hotel, price was ok considering the location, near the center of Marbella. We like it a lot, it was close to the Venus beach, 5 minutes of beautiful walk through Parque La Alameda and Avenida del Mar. The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, big enough and with comfortable bed. We enjoyed a lot our balcony with a superb view over the Sierra Blanca Mountains and white houses of Marbella's Old Town. In the morning was a real pleasure to wake up and hear the seagulls and the church's bells from nearby. Also near the hotel there are many shops and restaurants/ bistros with good food. The parking cost is 12 euro/ day in a nearby underground parking lot. You pay 20 euros at check in as a guarantee for the parking access card and you receive them back on departure when you return the card.

Not bothering, but maybe, the smell of food that came in some moments of the day from the restaurants nearby.

When we first arrived we had one of the older rooms which was slightly disappointing, as the pictures on the website are of the newer rooms which had recently been renovated, so they looked completely different. Due to a faulty Aircon I got upgraded to a newer and much better room with a balcony, a double bed and a bigger bathroom. Overall this made my stay very pleasant and the staff were extremely helpful.

If I had stayed in the old style rooms I would of had a very different experience and would of been disappointed as it wasnt what I expected.

Exceptional location, our room was facing the main park of the city. Perfect for evening walks, literally within the historical Old Town, beaches are 5-10 minutes walking distance. Half-board was perfect, average breakfast and the possibility to choose between lunch (1pm to 4pm) or dinner (8pm to 10pm). Menu for lunch/dinner included best selection of local specialties.

Could be refurbished, but this way best value for money.

Location was excellent. Close to everything on a pretty nice zone. You have bars and restaurants nearby as well as buses. Staff is really nice and accommodating and willing to give great advice. It felt pretty cozy.

The hotel is a little loud. Thin walls and you can hear guests upstairs walking and going to the restroom. Made it a bit hard some nights. There is also some noise coming from outside, but that's expected given the hotel location (in front of a main avenue and a park).

Great location to explore the old town of Marbella. There are many restaurants and tapas bars just short walking distances. The beach is also really close and we had a beautiful view of the little park across the street.

You can hear the other guest slamming doors or talking really loud through the walls. We took a room that is higher up to avoid the noises from the street but you can't avoid loud guests. (if you are unlucky)

Location, staff, cleanliness and room services (cleaning). Also had a very good laundry service which was great value at less than a euro for underwear and returned the same day when you request before 12pm. Overall, a very comfortable stay with a relaxed atmosphere. They have massage chairs near the reception area, down the stairs which were €1.00 for nearly 5 minutes and very relaxing. They also have a coffee vending machine which charged €1.20 per cup and delicious. I took full advantage of the coffee machine during my stay :)

The breakfast on one occasion was luke warm. When I complained, the staff were very friendly and offered me other options. The breakfast was €9.00 so I would recommend trying out the breakfast first before committing to eating here every morning. Fabulous views of Marbella town from the breakfast room which may peak your interest. Big selection at the breakfast table also so if something doesn't tickle your fancy, you can always try something else. The regulars to the breakfast room were all having bread (toast) which wasn't for me but I guess the bread is great since a lot of people opted for it. They also had delicious looking crioissants! I had eggs most mornings and they were very nice apart from the one morning the scrambled eggs were borderline cold. Other than that, no complaints!

Due to our flight being cancelled 6 hours before departure and unable to travel to Marbella that day! Contacted the hotel via email and they changed my booking for me with an additional payment due to price increase. Also arranged a taxi back to the airport on departure. Thank you again for a wonderful short break in the heart of old town Marbella.

READ SEVERAL REVIEWS AND I IDENTIFIED MANY GUESTS SAW GENERAL PICS OF THE ROOMS AND GOT DISSAPOINTED LATER ON. IN MY CASE I CHECKED SPECIFIC PICS FOR THE JIUNIOR SUITE AND CONTACTED THE PROPERTY AND VERIFY THAT THE PICTURES AND MODERN ROOM I WAS LOOKING AT WAS THE ONE I WOULD GET. EFFECTIVELY I DID. AND IT WAS PERFECT, SUPER GOOD LAYOUT COMFORTABLE, ALL CLEAN AND NEW, AND GOOD INSOLATION FROM THE NOISE ON THE WINDOW TO THE MAIN STREET. WE ENDED UP HAVING DINNER AT THE ALAMEDA RESTAURANT, AND IT WAS A VERY VERY GOOD CHOICE AND VALUE FOR THE PRICE, AND ALSO ADDED THE BREAKFAST. BREAKFAST COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT MORE FRESH, BUT WE WERE HAVING IT LATE AROUND 10.30 AM... WE REALLY LIKED THIS HOTEL AND THE PRICE. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL ALL THE WAY.
