A magical oasis!

This is a truly special property. Wonderful mix of old world charm and present-day amenities. I was helped with a taxi to/from the Camino and was welcomed by staff by name at the door. The room was beautifully decorated and the terrace was a lovely place to unwind with a glass of wine and olives. I saw previous reviews that were not great regarding the restaurant but I have to say I was blown away. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, and the service was exceptional. Everyone made me feel like I was the only person staying there. I found it while researching a non-alburgue type of lodging, but I’d say that if you are planning a trip in the general vicinity you should give this hotel a try. I had the most basic room type but got a peek at a bigger room while they were cleaning, and wow! Very special. I’m just sad I didn’t get a chance to use the spa/fitness center due to my schedule.

We were walking the Camino and needed to be picked up before Ligonde. They came and got us for a fee. The entire hotel is amazing! The staff was super attentive! The room was amazing with a bathtub which I special requested. The restaurant was excellent! The dishes were made to order so the wait time was longer than usual but worth it. We asked for sangria which I don’t think was on the menu but they made it and it was fantastic. Their shuttle dropped us of in Ligonde to resume our Camino. Even though it is out of the Camino-would definitely return!

It was a long wait time for dinner. My daughter saw it stated on the menu-so I think it was fair-just know that up front!

Excellent service most especially provided by Andres and Mauricio as well as the newly hired housekeeper. Cleanliness and comfort were excellent . Slightly off the Camino but transportation to and from available. Breakfast was excellent . We would return . Thank you fir a lovely stay !

The fruit offered at breakfast ran out quite quickly despite our promptness at arriving during the breakfast hour.

The advertised facilities of steam room and sauna were very odd. An extra €25 euros per hour per person to use them. It was like a bathroom with a Turkish bath and jacuzzi bath that appeared to be unused. The sauna wasn’t on so would not have been available in time - so this facility should not really give you your extra star rating.

Jorge is an amazing manager and made me feel like an amazing guest. The room was super unique and very, very nice. Jorge also picked me up at Legunde and delivered me back the next day. The food was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

5 star hotel.The placel is off the track from the city center ofMonterroso or Venta de Naron, so you will need a taxi or transportation to get to the hotel. We took a taxi from the Venta de Naron after walking from PortoMarin. However, it is well worth to stay to this place. It is quiet, and I highly recommend making an early reservation if you would like to have a massage. The food is very good and the hosts are very friendly.

Stunning hotel in a serene location. The hotel was very clean, quiet and beds were very comfortable. The staff were amazing. With the help of the sweet waiter Cesar, since we were going to head out for the Camino before breakfast was served, the staff were gracious enough to pack us a simple picnic. Can’t wait to visit again. Gracias!!

Romantic and relaxing location - stepping into the courtyard felt like being transported back in time. The room and bathroom and balcony were of generous size and well-appointed. Dining facilities and food selection were top notch and brought a whimsical joy to our experience. The property will provide transportation for Camino walkers for the entire final 100km from Sarria to Santiago, so you could stay at this charming, fairytale spa hotel and walk all day!

Really, we enjoyed the experience, from the new age music at check in to the aroma infused air to the modern furniture and the historic setting. The spa facilities were small and limited; the jacuzzi jets didn't work and I wasn't sure of the filtration system or cleanliness of an "at home" spa being used in a commercial setting.

In the rural countryside. Monterosso restaurants, which are worth a visit, are a five minute drive away. Being able to speak some Spanish is very helpful.
