Clean and well-appointed room with wonderful sea view from the balcony. Very good breakfast selection - including made to order omelettes, fresh pineapple, good orange juice. Lovely to be able to sit outside on the terrace to eat breakfast in October. Small but well-looked after pool area. Excellent position metres from the sandy beach, with direct access from the pool area onto the promenade. Very helpful staff, great at giving suggestions for day trips, details of local buses, etc.. Bus stop a few minutes walk away.

The evening buffet was disappointing, although many people seemed to enjoy it, We found it bland and too British! The hotel is geared towards more mature guests and we found that we prefer a mix of ages, so this didn't suit us. We didn't realise just how much the area catered for British guests, so if you want Spanish charm this is probably not the right place to come.

the location is amazing, my 2nd visit to the hotel, visited also in march 2023. so many lovely places to eat close by, and beautiful beach.

we had a really bad noise coming from next door to our room. we recorded the noise. told reception, and they said they’d have maintenance look into it. the problem never got any better and there was no follow up. it wasn’t a problem in the day. but unfortunately the noise went on throughout the night when we were in bed, we were in room 108….

Really enjoyed our stay reception a little bit clinical on check receptionist spoke way to fast and really made us feel just look at tv , never asked had we stayed before and offered a warm welcome also on paying for drinks etc leaving , was never asked did you enjoy your stay etc hope to see you again , small but important question s

Kieth at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful as were all the other staff. The breakfast was fine. Our room was very clean and well organized with lots of places to store our belongings. We had a fabulous sea view. I didn’t know there would be nightly entertainment. The performers ranged in quality from poor to good. There was sufficient free parking not far from the hotel. If we return to Mallorca, I would definitely consider staying again at the Son Matias Beach Hotel.

Some of the entertainment was of poor quality. That wasn’t a big deal for us because we didn’t expect any entertainment. The soundproofing between the rooms wasn’t great.

My Husband and I stayed at Son Matias Beach - Adults Only 21/03/22 - 28/03/22....It was an excellent stay at this hotel and we can highly recommended...The staff, service, food, facilities and entertainment provided were all exceptional...The en-suite bedroom was large and very comfortable....Facilities included hair dryer, coffee table, 2x comfortable chairs, balcony table and 2x sun lounger chairs, large balcony terrace with lighting, overlooking fantastic panoramic sea view with a scenic view of Palma Nova white sand Beach, large screen remote controlled TV (complete with English speaking channels), more than plenty of wardrobes/drawers space, shoe storage, tea/coffee making facilities, built in fridge, valuables safe, storage with extra blankets provided (we traveled in March and it was cooler), 3x large dressing mirrors, shaving mirror, extended large dressing table, direct phone to reception/outside line, large double 2x person power shower with waterfall shower head and extendable mixer shower head, vanity unit, soft close WC, main lights/spot lights/soft lighting with plenty of accessible switches, plenty of accessible plug sockets, privacy respected with do not disturb sign, quiet room, 2x twin beds (pushed together and stayed together to make a large double), leather headboard....I made several requests with the hotel, and all my needs were met....The staff went above and beyond to meet my requirements....I requested a Sea View...Due to a severe back injury, I requested at least an extra 8 Pillows and Cushions, I requested a Double Bed, and the Twin Beds were pushed together and a double sheet provided, I requested Free Parking....ALL OF MY NEEDS, REQUIREMENTS AND REQUESTS WERE MET....The service at The Son Matias Beach Hotel - Adults Only was exceptional indeed!

Lack of parking space within Hotel grounds....Only 6 parking spaces provided, plus 1x disabled parking space....Car Park Security Barrier awkwardly positioned, as you have to physically get out of the car to show your Hotel Key Card to operate the barrier...Inconvenient if raining and very windy, as it was in our case when traveled during March 2022... The twin beds were a little too firm for my liking...

The staff were amazing. The room was spotless. Loved having Beach Towels supplied very thoughtful touch as were the supplies in the Fridge. Being a bit disabled a stool in the shower was great. On the flip side of the yellow sunbed warning stickers a great idea. Stops people putting towels down and going off for hours when others mainly younger couples couldn't get a sun bed. I would certainly recommend your hotel to our friends it's beautiful 😍 😎

Watching people running in like ants fighting for sun beds. We found it too cramped having the sun beds so close. We just popped in the shade for a coffee and came back to Yellow stickers on the sunbed when we could be seen sitting at the cafe. Some couples had a pod and a sunbed too which was a bit naughty.

Excellent hotel for mature people, everyone is so friendly. The breakfast was a great start to the day, plenty of choice hot and cold choices with the food served hot and not tepid as with previous experiences. Very easy going, no fools around the pool and we felt we made the best choice of hotel.

Nothing about the hotel, the evening entertainment was exceptional, The Dreamettes, Son of Soul to name a couple were brilliant! But all acts were good, nothing was too much trouble (genuinely) for the staff and the staff are a credit to the hotel. We cannot think of anything that could better what you have.

The hotel is in an excellent location, just a few steps from the beach. The pool is fantastic, with plenty of sunbeds, some of which have natural shade. The breakfast was also great, and the rooms offered a wonderful sea view. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The rooms lack good soundproofing, allowing noise from nearby rooms to be easily heard. The floors are tiled, so every chair movement can be heard nearby. Furthermore, we could listen to curtains moving in nearby rooms as if they were in our room.

Food is delicious and hotel staff couldn't do enough for you

There was a stag party in this has never happened before although they were respectful some of the older people did not like it as they have been going for years as the hotel does not normally have stag and hen parties.

Lovely hotel right on Son Matias beach. All rooms have a fantastic sea view. Standard rooms are a little on the small side but decorated to a very high standard. We found the beds to be very comfortable. There is a wide range of options at breakfast. Can't comment on the evening meal as we were bed and breakfast only. There are dozens of restaurants in the area serving a variety of cuisines. We didn't stay in the hotel for the evening entertainment so can't comment on that either.

Although there are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, for some reason not coffee was provided this year (though this has not been the case in prevous years).
