Breakfast looked normal, but everything was top quality. Incredible food, great place to stay and nice looking in general. Very well rounded hotel for wine tourism.

The beds can be improved, they are 7/10 but using a better quality mattress would boost the comfort of the room to another level. and if your room is next to the lift you will definetively hear it.

Great place to visit Bodegas, not too far from the old town.

Okay, we were there the day after fiesta but very difficult to find somewhere to eat on a Monday or Tuesday. Snacks were available but wanted something more.

The staff of the hotel is absolutely amazing. I had reserved one night by mistake and did not showed up and they helped me solve the problem without even asking for anything. Customer is their priority. The rooms are confortable.

We had a room with a jacuzzi that was not plugged and not working.

The rooms are big, the beds comfy. Nice bath/shower, good water pressure. The people at the reception could smile a bit more, but the ones at the restaurant made up for it big time. They were great. There's a luxury restaurant (we didn't eat there, you need to book 24h in advance) and a more simple restaurant. The food was amazing; best lambburger i ever had. Pizza very thin crust, lots of topping. Also, their go to wine is amazing ! The breakfast is more than enough and delicious.

The location isnt great. There's nothing there, it looks shabby. The center of Penafiel is already very small, but to be out of the center means there's nothing. However, the hotel is beautiful so if you stay there you're alright. The hotel has two nice terraces (although the one in the front looks out on the shabby street), but you can't eat outside ! Which is a real shame and we didn't really get it.

Quirky place. A complete overload of design details, overwhelming on arrival but you warm to it.

If choosing a Superior room, be aware that the bathrooms are glass walled and open to the bedrooms. Not everyone’s cup of tea! Go for the standard room if you prefer your privacy, they are still comfortable.

Breakfast was very good nice fruit starter and nice meats and jam. bath room was very modern. the let down was the bed should have spent less on the furniture and more on a nice bed like memory foam for a posh hotel had to put the pillow length ways and sleep on the pillow on top of the bed so my bones did not ache would have stayed longer if the bed was better lots of history castles and great wine to taste did buy some local wine wayne.

Hotel is a beautiful looking original building that blends in with Peñafiel in general. Staff were happy to help with a few issues we had very promptly. Thankyou to Ines the manager for helping us. Breakfast on our second morning was incredible and is highly recommended, fresh fruit, sour dough bread and fresh croissants. We even got some of their lovely family white wine to try with some chacina followed by eggs and bacon. Visit to the Pesquera bodega was also great and Pilar was a great host but she could have given us a bit more wine 🍷😀.

Spa was not the best and our first breakfast was not the best. Hotel had opened recently and I don't think they were ready to take clients yet.

The Restaurant and the Wine Cellar was amazing, the attention of the staff was real excellent.

I was in a room that the bathroom has CERO privacy..

exceptional setting and close to the best Wineries. All the staff were excellent and very helpful especially Carlos who made outlets visit to the restaurant very special.
