A good, convenient roadside hotel with nice views of their own vines to one side. It has an impressive reception area and a good restaurant as well, which is most welcome after a long journey en route to Santander.

The room had a blackout curtain, which was great. However, this was counteracted by a security light by the door that bathed the room with light when trying to sleep. AirCon could only be switched off by using the fuse box.

It must be about twenty-five years by now that I have been stopping by here regularly for dinner and an overnight stay, whether it was for my job or holidays so I can recommend the place with a clear conscience. The underground car park, the warm welcome by the friendly staff, the spacious, clean rooms, the fantastic restaurant and shop with local specialities and a huge selection of wines from the region, the generous breakfast buffet, the ongoing investments (Wellness area, charging stations for hybrid and electric cars, and so on)... I simply love this place, its atmosphere and its people!

Near to motorway great stopover to Santander ferry Terminal. Restaurant fabulous . spa fabulous. Garage facilities great even got electric chargers for cars. Parking is free. Everything you need in the rooms comfortable beds nice clean bathrooms. Kettle fridge paper cups tea , but we always take our own tea and coffee mugs and travel with a bottle of milk and water as we prefer ours.

Air con didn’t work. It was hot. Did report it straight away . Told it was fixed. When we came back from restaurant late evening we found it still not working. Too late to complain again as we needed to rest before driving to ferry next day. We opened the windows to make us more comfortable unfortunately bitten by the mosquitoes. Breakfast isn’t worth having in the hotel the cafeteria is better.

The location just off the motorway, the proximity to the town and the views over the vineyard and fields. The continent breakfast was also very good and plentiful at a reasonable price.

No walk-in shower just a bathtub with a shower. The only room in the 4* star hotel with a walk-in shower is the disabled wet room. Obviously this is for disabled people so someone like my wife and I with mobility problems do not want to take this room up even if it is available. Surely in this day & age most people would prefer a shower without having to climb into a bath.

Although a room with an inner courtyard view was confirmed, we were actually given a lovely room with a vineyard view. The half board menu in the restaurant was exceptional and the food delicious along with their own very good wine. Staff very helpful. Will definitely return as location is easy to find with ample parking available. Extremely good choice for overnight stop on way to or from Santander (3.5 hours away).Stunning property.

We had a great overnight stay on our way to Santander ferry. I booked half board, the food in the restaurant was high quality and we had excellent choice of three courses plus wine and water included . The breakfast had lots of choice which and covered a huge range of cereals, yoghurts, meats, cheese, breads etc, etc, etc. We enjoyed our stay and fully intend to return. We parked our fully loaded car in the secure underground car park which cost €10. Well worth the money for to ensure the security of our car.

Nothing we didn’t like. Feedback on one point would be, reception staff need to ensure half board guests understand the evening meal is in the restaurant and not the self service cafe.

Breakfast good, Staff great. Rooms clean and comfortable been staying here usually twice a year for the last eighteen years...... Still slippery in bath/shower when washing.....have complained about this in the past....

Carpets on 2nd floor hallway needed vacuuming lots of bits.... although in fairness it looked as though these were perhaps in the process of being replaced, lots of fraying on carpet joints...... See above, slippery in bath......

The manageress of the Spa was superb. The evening reception gentleman was hugely helpful, gave us time explaining the area and the wine and helped us out with a very unpleasant reception at the restaurant next door. Breakfast was in a lovely setting and very well laid out. Outstanding location - amazing building and Spa.

It would make sense to have two chairs and a table on the patio off the bedroom. We had an unpleasant experience with the restaurant adjoining- Hotel had made a booking for us but when we arrived Head waiter who had no english was abrupt and told us we had no booking- meaning we had to walk back to the hotel and get it sorted. If you have a restaurant in that location with many tourists visiting- then why have 2 waiters who don't speak english or attempt to help.

Value for money. Near to motorway and a good stop over for the ferry at Santander. Facilities good used the spa and restaurant. The Restaurant was excellent and so was the spa. The break

Didn’t enjoy the breakfast in the hotel but we’d already paid for it with our booking. The cafeteria had more choice. Wouldn’t stop us staying again. The setting is beautiful vineyards from your window which we sampled.

Lovely room with great view. Breakfast good with lovely friendly service from a nice young lady. Dinner was nice but not as good as the last time we visited. Reception was good to.

the staff in the restaurant are terrible, they didnt seem to know what they were doing. Several other people also said the same and i could see everyone looking at each other in amazement. Most people said they would no return there. This is our second visit in a year and the service dose not seem to have improved at all. The food was good but better last time, I guess this was due to the staff problems.
