Very convenient location, close to A1. Friendly and helpful reception staff who gave us a mini history lesson about this fascinating place. Good restaurant close by offering very good value as part of the half-pension deal. Again, the staff were friendly and efficient. Room was good, though beds very firm. Good blackout curtains - necessary because of 10MW floodlight outside! Good underground garage, though see below. Tesla Supercharger on-site.

Only a couple of criticisms: The underground parking costs €10 per night. I always think a hotel charging for parking is a bit 'off'. And the rooms are a brief walk from Reception - not a problem, except when it's pouring with rain! Similar comment about the restaurant.

Location. Good room for me as being semi disabled. But - no bars, grab handles, or any other aids. Putting a ramp from the carp park to the level of the rooms isn't enough!

The receptionist on arrival was brilliant. The one when we left clearly either didn't like English people, or didn't want to be there! There are no longer tea/coffee facilities in the room. The place needs redecorating. Only one pillow each? Standards have dropped dramatically of the ten years we have been using it.

Great location for south coast to Ferry trips. Staff all friendly and professional Gym adequate. Dinner was good value with good service. Breakfast had an excellent variety, with very friendly staff. Parking right outside the door Unless you are stopping longer and going to make more use of the facilities Spa, Wine bodega etc, I wouldn't recommend paying for the 4* part of the Hotel

There was a smell outside the hotel block where the rooms were This could have been due to too many dog owners let their dogs pee there (Why don't they walk them further away, it wasnt raining?) When the Vegetarian option was not available at Dinner, there were no alternatives This is a growing market, so the hotel may consider becoming more vegan friendly

Room was absolutely superb in the 4* part of the hotel. We managed to upgrade on arrival as we originally could only book into the 2*. Loved the ambience in the, separate, dining room although the meal was not as great as on our previous stay. Breakfast was hectic as there was a coach party in at the same time, sanity rescued by the little Spanish lady who was racing about making sure we got what we wanted.

A bit of advanced notice about the scrum at breakfast would have been appreciated, we could have timed our own presence differently.

Great spot for stopovers on main route to and from the ferry at Santander. After a bout of heatstroke the reception staff were super caring and helpful. The staff were always working with a smile. Shop and restaurant complex on site. Not used by me. Adjacent fuel station was handy. Free open parking but secure parking available if required. Good night's sleep. Ticked all the boxes for me.

Nothing not to like.

Excellent stopover hotel just off motorway. Rooms basic but comfortable. Excellent facilities with great restaurant on the site along with a shop and cafe/bar. It was nice to see electric car chargers on site as we struggle to find them in Spain. We have already booked for our return journey and will definitely be picking up some of their fantastic wine to take home.

Just a small thing, Dogs are not allowed in the Hotel reception area, so when checking in/out you need to leave them in the car.

The location was ideal for us travelling on the motorway from south to north Spain: easy off and onto the motorway. Easy to find, well indicated from kilometers before the take off. The reception area was breathtaking in its tradional Spanish architecture and furnishing. Restaurant service an food were excellent. We had breakfast at the Cafe where they had gluten free bread to my surprise and delight. We had a gratis wine tasting and purchased several bottles. Overall it's a place I'd stop off at again and would recommend.

Its a convenient stop travelling from south of Spain to uk with dogs. If you don’t have dogs you probably get a much nicer room, the dog rooms are okay but not great. However, the restaurant is excellent with local home-made Spanish food, the menu of the day is fabulous and reasonable and the staff in general are friendly and helpful. Al so plenty of electric charging if you need it.

Good room it was clean with en suite. . Situation perfect just off motorway with lots of free parking .

Found the mattress too hard for me . The lighting in the stairwell was inadequate. When coming back from the restaurant in the dark the lighting did nt come on till you were at top of the stairs. My partner missed the last step & went flying . No cuts or bruises fortunately. The restaurant food was a disappointment. Quite expensive but would regard it as basic.

Very convenient to Motorway, easy to find. excellent service and friendly and helpful staff.

THIS IS IMPORTANT… The shower doors were very awkward to close. The water from the shower was slow to run away, and the base was extremely slippery. Both my husband and I felt rather vulnerable to slipping. We used a towel in the bottom of the shower.
