Our recent visit to the Gold by Marina hotel in Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria was an experience that surpassed all our expectations. This hotel deserves nothing less than a five-star review for the flawless services and amenities it offered during our stay. The location of the hotel is second to none. Nestled in the heart of Playa del Ingles, it is only a short, pleasant stroll away from the pristine beach and a diverse selection of restaurants. This made for a great variety of daytime and evening activities, satisfying the tastes of both beach-lovers and food connoisseurs. The hotel's pool area was one of our favorite spots. With a sizeable, sparkling clean pool and ample sunbeds, it was a haven for relaxation and sun-soaking. What truly elevated the experience was the indulgent jacuzzi. After a day of exploring, nothing beat coming back to unwind in the warm, bubbling water. The area never felt crowded, and we found it to be a perfect balance of social and tranquil. We stayed in a Junior Suite that truly felt like a home away from home. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. From the sleek modern design to the high-end furnishings, every detail seemed thoughtfully curated to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the guests. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. However, what truly sets Gold by Marina apart is its excellent staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Their hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care added a personal touch to our experience, making our stay even more memorable. In conclusion, Gold by Marina offers a truly gold-standard experience – a mix of strategic location, impressive amenities, and exemplary service. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a trip to Playa del Ingles.

A lovely hotel in a central but quiet location. Reception staff were super helpful. The room was comfortable and everywhere in the hotel immaculately clean. The pool facilities were great as was the pool bar and food. We will return .

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean large and very comfortable rooms. Large pool and sheltered from the wind. Great buffet breakfast. Pool side bar and snacks. Good Jacuzzi and Sauna. They will try to provide a late check but if not possible will store you luggage in a lock room and provide you a room for 30mins to freshen up before leaving if late after noon. This was great for me as I left late afternoon and was able to enjoy the day by the pool, freshened up and headed to the airport. Other benefits its very central and easy to get to everywhere, CITA, Jumbo and beach are a 10min walk, short taxi ride is best to Maspalomas beach

Its not I didnt like more could be better if (1)Sauna was hotter, (2) pool side bar stayed open later. (3) the atrium area is a nice spot and one even there was a tapas and drinks evening arranged by the hotel, should try do more in that area.

Super friendly staff. you can download an app and communicate with the hotel staff via chat. The staff usually responded within 30mins and the requests we asked for - one related to changing single bedding to a double bedding sheet - were attended to within the hour. Super great service. Also, we were greeted with a complimentary glass of Cava and a red bottle of wine was waiting for us in our room, it's these kinds of small gestures that made our stay very pleasant :)

There's not much to do in the area, mostly filled with other hotels and restaurants.

Nice and modern hotel with a lot of “happy” colors. Rooms are big and a nice view from the balcony. The hotel is very clean. A nice small kitchen with free coffee. Every day we also got some candy. Breakfast is great and have a big variety of all you need for a good morning. Breakfast is open until 12:00. Restaurant and pool area is very clean. The pool area is not to crowed and have some small private areas. We ate lunch in the restaurant every day and the menu was great. All the staff is very service minded. Specially waiter Geiler was very friendly and service minded - he made us feel comfortable. We had our “own private” parking space for our rented car which was perfect since it can be challenging to find parking spaces on the street. The hotel is close to everything - the beach and Jumbo mall

Instead of the fancy sofa in the room it would have been great with a sofa with more comfort. The beds are not comfortable at all !

The location could not be better, literally about a 5 minute walk from Yumbo - but completely quiet and peaceful. The hotel is one of the few on the island that has been fully renovated, and the staff is absolutely lovely. Beautiful spacious rooms and plenty of amazing hangout places within the hotel - absolutely beautiful pool, terrace, and seating area on the first floor

Honestly everything was great, the rooms were a bit pricey compared to what else you can find on the island but I think it's worth it considering the quality of what you are getting and the fact that it's been renovated.

The hotel is very nice located, close to Yumbo Center, with al the restaurants and clubs one needs. We stayed at Gold for one week and we were truly happy about the service we’ve received. Everyone likes that extra step taken by the staff to please their guests - Gold Staff took extra two steps in the case. Amazing welcome at the reception. Well explained everything and help offered at each step of our stay. Nicely organized rooms, very clean and with little extra something from the staff (cakes, little wine etc). The pool, bar staff (the food was very good both for lunch/dinner and for breakfast) were amazing. They were always there when you need them and at the same time respecting the privacy. And juts to mention that we celebrated my birthday and the hotel acknowledged even that with a little extra for the party! Even the breakfast we asked to go on our last day was just amazing with the smile and help from reception staff. Cannot say anything more as it was a pleasure to be there and highly recommended for people deciding on a hotel for their Maspalomas stay. Thank you!

the sauna wasn’t working because of COVID regulations but hopefully next time it will

We love this hotel, the rooms are spacious and contain everything you need, if you book a superior room the bed is huge! The air-conditioning is very efficient. All of the staff that we spoke to were very friendly and helpful, extra shout out to housekeeping who do an amazing job. This was our second visit and we have already booked for next year.

The pool is way too cold and the sides of the pool could have been cleaner. A light near the full length mirror would be a welcome addition.

Very friendly staff, great pool area, very nice breakfast, no kids, good size room ( with small kitchen) with balcony and view good location This hotel has a very good restaurant near the entrance/ reception , highly recommended !!

there is no smoking area the room with white walls has no decoration, and is very minimalistic toilet is small ( shower is big) no complimentary coffee, tea, milk and sugar pool restaurant is open till 5pm, but no more service at the pool after 4 pm

This an ideal location, amazing staff, hotel features, cleanliness and the Monday get together at 5pm

The beds were 2 singles which were pushed together. As an adults only hotel we would have liked to have a double bed. Food stopped being served at 4pm and the bar closed at 6pm. We wished they stayed open later as we met a few couples we have liked to stay around the bar or eat rather than go out.
