The food was good, rooms are big and the pool area was large, everything was very clean and the staff were excellent. The location was good and there was even a life guard at the poolside, and free wifi was included in the bedrooms and over the hotel.

The only thing we did not like about the hotel was the room was very dated and in need of decoration, this was our falt as the newly referbed rooms were classed as superior rooms and we had booked a standard room.

We booked a superior room. It was modern and very spacious with a kitchenette. Bathroom and bedroom also nice. Very friendly staff. The location is quite good, at a walking distance of Maspalomas and Play del Ingles beaches. Nice swimming pool too. Good breakfast and dinner.

good location, bus stop right in front of the hotel, the renovated apartment was really nice, all appartments are spacious, terrace with a view, I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner, it´s been a good idea to place it outside under the palm trees. I have been to the hotel before and I will gladly come again

the kitchen in the apartment is really nice, but the equipment lacked basic things such as cups for tea, any sponge for washing dishes and detergent, a knife for slicing. the beds had good mattresses but the metal structure of the beds was old and one of them creaked terribly noisily with any movement

We liked this hotel. We have seen it a few times on our stays in the resort so thought we'd give it a go this time and glad we did. Very friendly staff (all of them), good food, great pool area. Room had a nice balcony overlooking the pool and road. Good all round location between ingles beach, the dunes and close to shopping areas, restaurants, bars etc. Room was functional with TV, modern shower, kitchenette area including hob and a few utensils. Fan in bedroom and aircon throughout. Good wardrobe storage and safe available (for a fee). free Wifi seemed strong throughout the hotel. Late checkout is available from the standard 12.00 to either 4pm or 8pm for a small fee of 15/29 Euros respectively if this room is available. Please keep up the good work. We've already booked our next stay!

We dont like the negative reviews who dont seem to rate it in relation to what you pay! This isnt a 5* so dont expect that. But for the money, it is great value with great service. Any niggles that we had were insignificant in relation to this.

My 3y daughter was happy there, she always said we are going back to the kingdom. The food and service was good. I loved their sushi that was available every day 🙂 Bus stop in front of the hotel. Dunas de Maspalomas not far away. You can check out later for the fee if the hotel is not fully booked. If it is, you can leave your luggage at the reception and stay at the pool.

I would appreciate more sea foods for dinner. Our bedroom was situated on the side of Shopping C. C. so there was a noise from the bars in the evening, it was ok for us but some people could have a problem with that.

Great location for us, fantastic room, amazing staff, we didn’t have a single member we didn’t dislike (reception, cleaners, pool, bar/restaurant, maintenance; every single one was great) special mention to the beautiful (Adela maybe) at the pool bar. she went above and beyond!

WiFi wasn’t great (affected my work), refurbished rooms but no kettle or toaster. as I work when on holiday, the WiFi was the major issue for me. Other hotels have WiFi routers in each rooms to ensure a consistent connection. With regret, this is a show stopper for me.

Whist we where very happy, and have stayed at the Rey Carlos many times, and always will in the future. What we liked & found amusing , where people at reception complaining, because they did not do there homework... these people are unintelligent holidaymakers, unable to understand with a broad mind, what this fantastic hotel has to offer, when considering costs.

the location is perfect and the staff are very friendly and professional and the supervisor double room option I booked was great. really spacious and modern. the pool and pool area was really nice and well laid out and I nice atmosphere. I always wanted to stay here but never did so this time I booked it and wasn’t disappointed and I will stay again here for sure

Really lovely staff despite the language barrier, very clean, pool facilities nice and was easy to get a sun lounger.

Could do with a second pillow on beds and more than one key per room as if one person wants to go out then the others cannot.

Very helpful staff on reception. Excellent location. All round very pleasant stay - Great value

Could do with some updates but wasn't really fussed as I wasn't expecting luxury for the price we paid.
