Bahía de Alcudia Hotel & Spa

The best hotel we have stayed in Alcudia by a long way. We travel twice a year to cycle in Mallorca and have stayed in a lot of hotels in the area and this is the best. We got a bargain off booking.com £350 hb for the 2 of us in March. Fist off the staff are excellent an will help you with anything, the breakfast is brilliant with plenty of choices and the dinner once again exceptional. Rooms cleaned daily and we used the spa on the last day. This is simply the best place to stay.

Nothing, a great place. Even had a laugh with the manager when I had to educate her about being Welsh is not the same as being English.

Pool area and outside space was really relaxing. Room was comfortable and quiet. Good balcony with great views. Really clean and had hand sanitizer everywhere.

Dinner buffet was poor quality but lots of choice. Breakfast was better. Wine at the on-site bar was pretty bad too.

The food was great, although some more hot vegetarian/vegan options at lunch and breakfast would be great as sometimes these meals in particular got repetitive. Dinner was great, especially the Asian night which was very accommodating to vegetarians. There was sushi on this night but they all seemed to have fish in them so I asked the supervisor if a vegan option would be possible and he returned from the kitchen 5 minutes later with a plate full of vegan sushi. Throughout our stay, we made a few different requests and the kitchen/restaurant staff were all very accommodating and made a big effort. All-inclusive drinks were great, with no plastic cups (except for at the pool), and fresh cocktails. This is a very clean and well-finished hotel that is close to the beach and amenities, the staff were great (especially Diego!) and we would definitely stay again.

The bathrooms have a sliding glass or wooden door so it doesn't give much privacy in the room. It was also not clear that the economy rooms were on the first floor which was a bit noisier and lacked privacy, although the room itself was lovely. We asked about this and the manager arranged to move us to a different room the following day which we were very appreciative of.

Excellent location; nice deco inside; cozy room (we had the renovated room); chill out, garden; wonderful spa; cleanliness; delicious food; very friendly, kind and helpful staff.

1. Wine included in the All Inclusive Program was a shame for Spain and for the hotel. The great food, the hotel itself deserves much better than a very low quality (and horrible taste) of the wine. During the lunch and dinner was provided only a draft wine (very bad) and in the bar “vino de la casa” was also bad (for Spanish standard for sure). 2. The bottles of water (with AI Program every night 1 bottle per person at the bar before going to bed) could have been provided every day directly into the room. 3. Rooms overlooking the street (with lateral sea view and view over the mountain) are a bit noisy. We stayed on the 4th floor and you can hear the traffic and people from the restaurant/bar on the opposite side.

Good location, few minutes away from the beautiful beach and 20 mins away from the old town. The staff are very friendly. They organise something every night like karaoke, game, live music, white party. Very clean. The food amazing. Definitely will come back.

The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that there aren’t enough sun beds or space for a lot of people to go to the pool and everybody is reserving their spots at 8:00. So if you wake up a bit late, you can’t go to the pool. However, the beach is a few minutes away and the sunbeds there are 14€ for 2.

Everything. Staff, location, facilities, food were all excellent.

Very little to dislike. It was all very good. The only negative was the bath being very high when getting out of it after showering. My wife struggled to get out a few times, especially when there was water on the floor. She felt that some sort of handle would have been appropriate to hold onto when getting out of the high bath. We both felt a person with mobility issues would struggle to get in & out of the bath. A wet room or a lower height bath would probably be more suitable, especially for elderly or less mobile guests.

Beautifully decorated hotel, with lovely garden, swimming pool and indoor jacuzzi pool with access to sauna. As we've paid for a half board, we experienced having breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The selection of the food was very good, arrangement of the food was very pretty and the theme for dinners changed every night. Staff was very friendly and professional and that goes to all staff from reception, kitchen staff and housekeeping staff - they all have done their job really well. Location of the hotel was great, only about 300m away from the beach and very close to all shops . Distance from historic city center only 20min walk.

The only thing we didn't like was the glass door on the bathroom. It was shaking and noisy every time we closed it and it felt like it may break any moment.

Great location of hotel, 5min walk to nearest beach, also 5mins to nearest shops and around 20mins to beautiful Alcudia town. Dinners at hotel was amazing every evening different variety of food.

We had half board option and for breakfast drinks such as coffee, tea juices and water was free of charge ( all was from machine) in evening only all inclusive guest could use does machines, non all-in guests have to pay even for bottle of water (2.5euro for 750ml) we had room on 6floor and we left balcony window open for whole night, every night and day around 9-10pm and 7am rubbish from hotels around was picked up by trucks (mostly bottles from hotels etc) - it was very noisy.

Good location near Main Street / strip. Less than 5 mins walk to beach/ shopping streets and only 10 mins walk to old town. Really nice pool- clean, attendant present etc Lovely garden area, with lots of facilities for adults and children- pool table/ darts/ hammock etc Staff very pleasant Buffet style restaurant with lots of choice

This was not a problem but the hotel caters for many cyclists ( bike lift/ gym / bike racks etc) so be aware that people are up very early for training/ a lot of doors banging / pool often being used for athletes training etc
