We just loved it! Everything was perfect. The stuff -from receptionists, breakfast/dinner teams to cleaning ladies, etc- is very profesional and friendly, always ready to help. Appartments are cosy, well thought off. It’s very clean (they are cleanning every second day, but thats really enough). No small ants inside (as almost everywhere else we stayed in Canaria). The food was good and really enought to choose from. Special thanks to the guy in kids club who worked on weekend - our kids just loved him. It’s at about 7 minutes walk from nice sandy beach, to the city centre it’s 10 minutes walk. To have a Bicycle would be very nice there. Wifi was good, we both worked there and it was no problems for us. Both pools are heated and they have a nice garden and play area for children.

Excellent staff, beautiful bungalows, lovingly kept grounds, perfect pool for all ages, good pool bar with a good meal costing less than 5€. They also provide pool towels in the rooms. Free WiFi, free safe, it all makes a difference and best of all......... AIR CONDITIONING!! we even stayed and extra 4 nights we were that happy there. Thank you so much and don't change a thing!!

Been here a few times and it's always good. Food selection is good and the pools are fabulous. After we checked out we stayed for a swim as we had an evening flight and we were offered towels for a shower. Nice touch from reception. Booking another stay right now.. lol

On two occasions when we stayed for ten days our keys fail on the seventh day. Reception said it was probably because the key was beside a credit card but my partner's key isn't near one and failed the exact same day as mine and on both holidays. I worked in access control with proxy cards and you need to make sure you date you access cards correctly. Also I noted an apartment that was cleaned across from me and the bucket was lifted off the patio and placed/filled in the kitchen sink. Not a good hygiene procedure, can cause tummy bugs.

Excellent hotel and amenities, kept very clean and breakfasts were really good with lots of choice. Pool was clean and well looked after. Most of the rooms were mini apartments, base a semi detached style bungalow. ( really cute and very private) hotel supplied beach towels for the loungers free of charge and Aircon was ice cold which was great. I'd happily recommend it again and would be pleased to come back next year!

Ok, a few People have mentioned location... it is a 10 min walk from the "main" areas of puerto del carmen .. however it is only 5 mins from the beach. Personally we enjoyed the walk after a huge breakfast.

It was perfect for a family stay, had so many facilities for children, including the splash pad, park and mini club which had lots of toys and a ball pit, perfect for getting a break from the heat. it was the perfect location, being a short walk away from the beach which had a larger park and shop and also not too far from the strip but far enough away that there was no noise disruption. the complex itself was nice that it was smaller than a large hotel but still had all the amenities and the rooms were surprisingly large. much more than we had hoped for and a perfect first holiday with our 1 year old who loved it! all the staff were so friendly and welcoming also

very very minor but sometimes it was hard to access the food when people were waiting for special orders such as omelettes, perhaps of this was in a different place it would prevent a queue from building we also found 6.30 start time for dinner slightly late for our baby who usually would eat at 5pm but other than this, no complaints!

The accommodation was spacious and clean also the main restaurant / pool area was comfortable. Overall a great property to stay but only on self catering basis maybe B&B at a push

The food was not great it was very repetitive and not all food was labelled so you couldn’t tell what it was.the wait at breakfast for a fried egg /omelette was far too long service was slow. Dinner - Paella was very dry it had to have been lying under the heat lamp well before the restaurant opened for service. Also once the food was on your plate it didn’t stay warm for long. Hyde park lane should maybe stick to B&B / self catering only

Breakfast was great, a variety for all. The cleanliness of the apartments, pool area, restaurants and toilets were incredible. All staff were so friendly and were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. The pool was immaculate and the water in the big pool was lovely and warm. A lovely touch having a jacuzzi at the side away from the main pool. When we arrived we were advised we were staying over the other side of the complex, I asked if possible to stay the same side as the pool and restaurant and the receptionist done his best to accommodate this, and although the two apartments we booked weren't next to each other (due to my request to change) they managed to give us two apartments on the side of the complex we wanted, which was great. I didn’t use the spa on the visit this time, however I did visit this hotel Last year with my cousin and used the spa facilities and had a massage which was great. The apartment was so very clean, with clean towels being put in apartment every 2 days. There is a little supermarket below the complex which is great, has everything in there you would need. The complex is located around 10 mins away from the airport and around 20 mins walk into the start of the “strip” however there are lots of lovely restaurants just down the road and supermarkets and the main beach. very friendly staff and helpful

The facilities were great, 3 of us stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was kept very clean by the housekeepers. The pool area was tidy and there were plenty of sunbeds, the pool guys were really helpful and kept the area safe for kids. The pool bar has plenty of snack and drinks selection at a reasonable price. Francisco on reception was very friendly and helpful and answered any questions we had. There is a launderette and a shop on site which was really handy.

The only issue that it is a good walk from the centre, however there are plenty of taxis available if required. However, being away from the centre makes Hyde Park Lane resort nice and peaceful.

Nice bungalows in a quiet, beautiful area. The cleaning lady cleaned every 2 days. All the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good however dinner wasn't as good as some meals were cold and the meat was sometimes uncooked. If I was to return, I would not book the dinner. There was a pool for adults and a lot of sunbeds were free. I'm not sure about kids pool but I think it's the same. There was a small shop where you could buy drinks and snacks. There was a pool bar with food for lunch. To get to and from airport was €1.40 by the 161 bus. 10 minutes walk to main strip. I stayed there on my birthday but sadly no small gift or even a happy birthday but anyway our experience was good overall so I would definitely recommend this place.

Dinner and the bed was uncomfortable, but not everyone will find it uncomfortable.
