A well run rural hotel, nicely decorated, well kept, with a unique and comfortable atmosphere equally given by the property and the wonderful staff that makes you feel welcome from minute one. Hospitality at its best. Bedroom, bathroom, pool, public areas were immaculate clean. Food was amazing exquisite dinner and a lovely breakfast served in their patio facing a stunning landscape of farms, hills, vineyards caressed by the ever so wonderful Spanish sun. We were upgraded to a bigger room, a nice surprise for us that are celebrating our special occasion.

This hotel far exceeds its photos - beauty is everywhere! The delicious dinners were organically and perfectly prepared, the staff could not have been more lovely. We loved the beautiful views of olive groves, pool, and roses and potted flowers. We took walks among the ancient olive groves. Ronda, a spectacular town, is a 10-minute car ride away Hotel La Fuente de la Higuera is sophisticated and extraordinary. It's obvious the owners are truly dedicated to creating a uniquely special experience for all who visit. Gracious!

Everything! This gem of a hotel, tucked into olive groves near Ronda, was the perfect end to our vacation and our favorite hotel in Spain! The terrace where you can enjoy delicious meals has lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the swimming pool. It also appeared to be smoke-free, which was a huge bonus as so many other outdoor meals in Spain were polluted by cigarette smoke. The handcrafted food was excellent and featured local produce, and there's an extensive wine menu. The staff were very friendly and kind, always service with a smile! The owner takes pride in his family owned hotel and paid attention to each guest. We highly recommend staying here - you won't regret the peace and quiet, food, lovely rooms and stunning gardens and vistas. Muchas gracias & hasa pronto!

Not a thing - it was splendid!

Everything. To be honestly, the booking was kindly of last minute, and I did not expect it will be that outstanding before I get into my room. You can tell from every detail in the room that it is very delicate. I would say this is definitely a 5-star hotel for me. Hotel is small with only 7 rooms, but every room is spacious. Love it! If I ever got the chance to come back, will definitely stay here for longer.

Lovely exclusive hotel with great service from the owners. Attention to detail was great even down to an honesty bar with everything that you wish for including ice creams. The food was exceptional, especially the evening meal. The pool was amazing as being quite a small hotel, was never really busy.

The only downside is that things do tend to get costly as we spent all 5 evenings eating at the hotel. Not the cheapest but quality is amazing.

It was an amazing stay, one of the best we've had. The staff was amazing, facilities were great, a lot of privacy and comfort as well. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, the food was at another level, the soups in particular were great! I would highly recommend everyone to eat here. The room was very big and the decor was great. The location was absolutely breathtaking, the pool great as well. It's the perfect spot if you want to unwind for a few days.

I would have liked to have a minibar in the room.

Flawless. We had an incredible time - from the minute we checked in to the moment we left. Room was sensational - slept brilliant thanks to cool room and dark blinds and incredibly comfortable bed. Breakfast and lunch were also exceptional - very fresh produce and excellent offering. Pool area great - really comfortable beds and very quiet. We didn’t stay for dinner on our four nights but wish we had. Stunning setting and will, without a hesitation, be back.

Nothing - really is superb.

We loved our stay at Hotel La Fuente de La Higuera. It’s a beautiful property renovated by the family overlooking the valley of olive trees, wineries and villas giving a tranquil feeling the moment you drive in. Our room was very large with a beautiful king bed and private terrace overlooking the pool and view. We ate dinner and breakfast at the property and was very good form the wine and cocktails to the food. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway or stay in the Ronda area particularly for couples.

This is a truly outstanding “small hotel”, and we have stayed in many! This tranquil rural location a few kilometres from bustling Ronda is to die for, the staff are extremely professional and yet incredibly welcoming. The dining experience is pure gourmet! The limited menu is changed daily and the vast majority of the ingredients are sourced either from the estate gardens or locally. We will most definitely be returning!

The interior and exterior design is amazing, the small details of the garden and the furniture selection are both perfect. This hotel is a peaceful and relaxing oasis in the middle of Ronda’s countryside. If you want to spend some special days in the middle of wine yards, olive oil fields and nature this place is just the perfect choice. The swimming pool is just in the middle of a perfect and very well maintained garden with roses, lavender, bougainvillea and trees.

Super small details that can be improved to make this place even more perfect: 1) we arrived late morning so it was too late for breakfast and too early for lunch. I would recommend to keep anyway some food and alternative dishes for their guests all day long 2) the bar/ cocktail area is self service which is nice because you can prepare your own cocktail but not the best if you want to chill and ask for a cocktail while enjoying the swimming pool 3) you need to book your lunch/ dinner in advance which can be good for them to arrange everything the day before, but not so ok for the last minute guests who may change their minds and plans.
