Hotel Bodega El Juncal

Lovely situation. Very peaceful. Good parking facilities (and free) Gorgeous gardens and pool. Nice big room & bathroom. Pleasant staff. Set dinner with accompanying wine was good. Would definitely like to try the a La carte menu next time. Altocielo wine is the top choice and is quite excellent!

Aircon was very poor (especially for August) - room was too warm. Beds a little uncomfortable - I think new mattresses needed. Also as the room was big having at least one more chair in there would have been nice (this is clearly a small niggle) Check out at 11am and no budging… most places have flexibility

This property is in a gorgeous location in the countryside but just 11 minutes by taxi to Plaza España in Cordoba. It is a beautiful and tranqui setting and has a lovely pool, fountain and gardens for your relaxation and enjoyment. The pool isn’t heated, but it’s very refreshing! The room we stayed in was simple and large with a beautiful large and private patio with a view of the surrounding property. The bed was very comfortable. The staff is lovely, especially Juan Antonio who handles the afternoon and dinner shift. He was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was buffet style and had many options. The evening restaurant was good. I highly recommend their salads! The chicken brochette was delicious! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a little tired, it needs a bit of refurbishment.

Peaceful location a little out from the centre of Ronda but ideally placed to drive in and Park early before this would become difficult- we had hoped we might of been able to walk in but really it was a bit too far. Fabulous generous breakfast and we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant one night- Would like to have been able to relax around the pool but unfortunately storms arrived the same time as us! Shaded parking spaces. Friendly. Family run Spanish spoken managed with my limited Spanish though.

Would have liked a kettle in the room rather than having to ask for hot water (which was happily provided) to make a cup of tea especially as weather cold on our arrival.- Recognise this is a peculiarly British thing!

Super-nice and professional staff, thank you. The place is well located, all their terrain with lawns, fountains and trees creates an amazing atmosphere. We enjoyed chilling out there around the swimming pool. Our room (named Cabernet Sauvignon) was comfortable and spacious. The food in the restaurant was also good, including vegan burgers.

We didn't like the wasps that accompanied the breakfast's buffet and the price of their wine: bought at the hotel (as a bottle, not served in the restaurant) was 50% more expensive than the price on their vineyard's website :(

The setting is nice, clean pool and good size. We ate dinner there two and the food was amazing. I really enjoyed the risotto and meat paella. My son said he had the best burger ever. Their wines are also very good. Staff was really nice, helpful and always smiling.

The staff was amazing , super friendly and attentive. The food at the restaurant is great as well. Nice Chef! And the wine was delicious.

In Booking.com it says 4 stars , but the facilities don't look like. From the room you can clearly hear the whole conversation at the entrance, mainly because of the light door of the room , I guess. However it was not a big problem as the Hotel was very quiet during our stay. On the other hand, the price was also good, and according to what we saw, this is not a complaint but rather a suggestion to improve the sound isolation of the rooms.

This place was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer and seen more of the place - we only stayed one night. The room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Bathroom also clean and decent sized. Free onsite parking was a bonus. We ate at the restaurant for dinner - it was delicious and reasonable prices! This place is great value for money. I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Ronda or the surrounding area!

The hotel is located on a very beautiful and quiet vineyard a bit outside Ronda (10-15 minutes). It is very well maintained and we felt comfortable staying there. There is also free parking

The Wi-Fi was not very good and the staff did not speak English well/at all. As we did speak Spanish, it was no problem but it could be for other international guests who don’t speak Spanish

Hotel is perfectly set on the outskirts of Ronda. Beautiful views and perfect for a rest. Big room with nice terrace and a good size pool for a summer cooling. We decided for breakfast which offer more than enough for a good price of 10€.

Perhaps would be a good time for bed change, but nothing dramatic. Just a thought…

Spacious (!) room and large +comfy beds. Nice gardens and countryside plus a lovely swimming pool (we stayed in October so only had a look around). The restaurant on site was good, too. You can walk into Ronda but it is quite far so the bus/car is a better option.

A bit noisy but overall a comfortable stay.
