Loved the location. Right next to the cathedral. Easy to find after finishing the camino. In the center of the historic area of town, lots of restaurants and bars to walk to. Room is on the smaller side, but perfect for myself. Bed was very comfortable, perfect to unwind in after finishing the camino. Less than 5 min walk to pilgrims office. The building itself was beautiful and felt like I was stepping back in time. It was also very quiet.
A bit on the warmer side (opening the window at night helped), not sure how it would be in the middle of summer time.

A really nice place to stay, staff were lovely, the whole place was very clean throughout. Breakfast was a buffet and was very good value, as was the evening meal, I would stay here again absolutely. The location is literally across the road from the cathedral and within walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. No televisions anywhere which was really nice.
No additional blamket available in the room so I doubled the quilt over me which I could do as I was on my own in the room. A small thing really.

I have walked the Camino 5 times and always stayed here at the finish. It is a wonderful old building with pilgrim rooms that are amazing and at an amazing price. An all you can eat breakfast is included which at the end of a Camino is no small deal. All the people at reception and one gentleman (I’ve seen him each time) in particular are super friendly and helpful. It feels like an incredible reward at the end of a nice walk.
It was all perfect and always is.

Near perfect location very close to Cathedral and in the old town! Walking down the corridor to Reception and you feel you have arrived somewhere special and you have - just a great place to stay! Toilet / Shower a bit small - but hey! Really enjoyed our stay. Found a great place to eat - good local meals. Down the hill to right, past the square on left down again and on facing corner on the right - great food and plenty of it! Nice service too!
Slightly larger Toilet / Shower - and we are not big!

Given how cheap it was, I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was. There was excellent water pressure in the shower and it was very quiet in the corridor. The breakfast was good value at 7 euro. The building itself was really historic and the public areas on the ground floor had lots of interesting things to look at. Whilst the common areas were quite cold, the radiator in the room worked really well.
The bar closed quite early, and there were no kettles in the rooms, which meant that you couldn't have a hot drink once the bar closed in the common room. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit at breakfast, instead of tinned fruit.

I loved everything about this place. It is an old monastery conversion. It embraces the feeling of Santiago de Compostela. It is a simple and beautiful place to find peace. If you are a Peregrino - that's an ideal place. It is also a family-friendly place. If you are looking for luxury and spas or similar, you probably need to try something else. There are no TVs in the rooms. They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
For me, this was an ideal location. It really depends on what you want. If you are looking for luxury, this might not be the right place to be.

Very interesting (and large) old building next to the cathedral, and so very close to all the main sights. I had a small single room (presumably a converted seminarist's room), simply furnished, but clean and comfortable, with good wifi. Nice view over Reyes Catolicos to the hills beyond. I had both lunch and breakfast, in large halls, noted for high windows (no view) and silence (no muzak).
The bed was a little short. I'm 6-foot, and just about fitted; anyone taller might have an issue. This place is advertised as San Martin Pinario, but the sign outside says Seminario Mayor, which is a bit confusing - I had to double check to make sure I had the right place. Probably the longest walk from the entrance to reception I have ever encountered!

Absolutely everything! I went last year with a group of friends after the Camino and we came back this year because we really enjoyed our stay. The price has gone up considerably but we still managed to fit it into our budget. The location right beside the Cathedral is priceless and the staff are super helpful. Can't praise it enough.
The increase on the price.

Excellent location, although getting there from the airport by bus was a bit tricky! The room was great! Simple and clean! The breakfast was sufficient, although I wish there were some eggs.
None. It really was fine. Friendly and helpful staff. The immediate neighborhood was very nice, with lots of atmosphere.

Amazing building and right in the heart of Santiago next to the cathedral
Only bad thing was the corridors are very big and echoey so I was woken up during the night by people being loud outside my room - but this is not the fault of the hotel
