Very good location - 5 minutes walk to the cathedral - but see the comments below. The personnel is friendly. The room is comfortable.

The breakfast. First, we were surprised that it was not served on the first day of our stay. Quite unusually and unexpected. Second, it is OVERPRICED. 14 EUR - and only cold food is served and the choice was far from being extensive. The tea - we asked for NORMAL black tea - was awful. The noise. Nearly all time. Sure this is the opposite side of the good location. However be aware. You can sleep more or less quietly only from 2 am to 7 am as up to 2 am there is noise from cafes etc and from 7 am the trucks with goods for the market Abastos come.

Such lovely light and room overall! Location was just perfect, right in the heart of the historic town. So convenient for the main landmarks and museums. Loved the traditional windows with the stone/granite frame and the wooden blinds, but all with a modern twist. It was so clean and spacious, with picturesque views to the historic centre. What a dream to wake up, open the windows, and get so much light with a view to a lovely little square with a beautiful chapel. As well as that, the bed was super comfy and loved all the storage space in the room. The staff were really helpful and friendly. I arrived very early in the morning and the lady at reception looked after my luggage before I checked in and took it all to my room for me. She also gave me loads of information and recommended some really nice places to go. They were very helpful too when I asked them about directions and wrote all the info on a piece of paper for me :) Much appreciated! Finally, the restaurant was absolutely gorgeous. Delicious breakfast and very nice atmosphere. Santiago is such a breath-taking city, and this hotel just made the whole experience amazing. Just wish I had more time there!

The reception desk staff were very friendly, warm, and very helpful. We had fun conversation with Maria and Alba, and got many great suggestions about where to eat, and good directions. The hotel is conveniently located next to the famous Abastos market, and is, in general an easy walk to most of the beautiful sites in the old town. The hotel in the premises is Michelin , recommended. I would highly recommend this property.

Staff was amazing. Very accommodating. At first I was given a beautiful room, but it didn’t have a view, so I asked if I could get a room with a view and the staff was able to make this change for me. The location is perfect - 5 minutes away from the cathedral, right beside the street market, tons of restaurants nearby.

The only thing that could be improved here is the wifi. It’s a little slow and didn’t always work

The hotel is fantastic! I really enjoyed my stay in there. The staff was super friendly and helpful with everything, they gave me one of their best rooms and the view was incredible. Everything was super clean and safe. Excellent location, just right in the center of the city.

Everything was great but beds and pillows could be better and more comfortable. A couple of extra blankets would be great because Santiago usually is a cold city.

it was very convenient as it was in an easy location, there was friendly staff who try very hard to help, great housecleaning, comfortable bed, safes in the rooms, mini fridge, elevator for luggage, breakfast available, deep bathtub with enough hot water - 1st time I actually used a hotel tub. I would stay there again.

it was a bit noisy. during the day but a little but dinner starts late - maybe 8pm and it gets louder with alcohol consumption. the hotel is next to a few restaurants and on a popular walking route. people can be heard singing & screaming around midnight. I tuned it out but it could bother some. As in most of Spain, not many speak English. it’s nice that they offer breakfast as an option but there is little to choose from and the Spanish have the hardest bread ever. The kind that seems 2 weeks old. It seems to be the norm there.

What a great find in the old part of Santiago de Compestela. Just a few feet from the daily market. A great breakfast eatery next door plus the hotel has an excellent gourmet restaurant for lunch and dinner. Great air conditioning. Clean!! Gracious hostess.

A little noise when other guests go to their rooms- but really a minor.irritation.

About a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral, easy to find in a wonderful section of town. Room overlooked the farmer's Market, nice square (but was loud @ night). Great balcony w/sunroom/windows all along the length of the room. Clean, fantastic.

On day of checkout could not find anyone @ front desk, rung bell and went down to restaurant to get help multiple times, waited 40 minutes before I could track someone down for assistance.

Beautiful! Love the robe and slippers! The tall windows, breakfast nook, body wash and lotion. Adjoining cafe was great for breakfast and dinner. Elian at the front desk was accommodating and went above and beyond for us. It was a great end to our Camino!

A bit noisy and not so much from the outside. You could hear people coming in and out of rooms and footsteps or stomps above. The heater was also loud. I thought someone was using a blender downstairs but it was the heater which my friend was glad that there was one and it worked.

Staff was really helpful! The location was outstanding! The young man that helped us secure a car for the next leg of our trip was super patient, friendly and helpful. A really nice hotel. so charming, great location, would definitely stay there again.

There was really nothing to complain about.
