The restaurant, like most of the town, was closed on a Monday evening. With them knowing that the restaurants close on a Monday evening you would have thought that they would be open. They also had a "no food and drink allowed in the room" clause which is tough when nothing is open. No reception staff, you had to phone a mobile number to get service. Don´t get me wrong, they were great people but having to phone and wait to get attention was a bit strange.

When we arrived at 7:30pm the reception was closed. The staff rang us before to let us know they closed at 7 and we had to ring them when we arrived. When we arrived and called. No one answered on any numbers we were given. Luckily the restaurant staff were very helpful and were able to find a room key for us. We left at 11 am and reception was was closed again. We never saw anyone from the reception!

The room was spacious and very clean. Bigger than we expected. The room had air conditioning which was very much appreciated. You could walk out of the room onto a spacious balcony with a beautiful view. We were able to park the car in a garage right next to the hotel for a reasonable price. Restaurants are just around the corner and a short walk to all the main tourist spots. There was water in the room, the bathroom is new and very clean. A great hotel that gets 5 stars from us.

location was excellent, it was clean and the restaurant was very good, although, breakfast was a little boring. The towels were thick fluffy and absorbent and there was plenty of spare bedding and pillows. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The little things like hairdryer would have been helpful. personally I usually travel with a dryer that never gets used because the hotels have one. I got caught out!

The hotel is well located at a mid-level of town: Do take time to explore upwards as well as down! Reception seems to be staffed, and very helpful. Room spotless etc. All very good.

Room lighting is a bit subdued- probably fits with the troglodyte theme at Setinel, but would have found packing a little easier with brighter lights!!!

Comfortable beds, cleanness, spacious rooms, good heating in the rooms, very good location for visiting Setenil. good value for money. Good recommendations from the host on where to eat, he even booked a restaurant for us. good time allowed for check out (12,00 o'clock)

Lovely hotel right in the heart of unique village of Setenil. Air conditioning struggled a little in the unusually really hot weather, and sometimes the shower took a while to warm up, but the views from the balcony were fantastic, and the guy on reception was very helpful. Lots of food options locally for a small, but well visited, village.

A very smart hotel but good value. Very modern rooms and the food is particularly good. Had lunch when I arrived and it was very good, with local wines and just a nice vibe about the place. The owner was really amenable and it was a very pleasant experience all round.

Great location close too but away from the main tourist streets. great views from the room.

Parking although 200 metres away involved navigating very narrow streets. You can access the parking from the opposite direction and perhaps the hotel could 'sign post' the parking and the easy access route on the website.

The hotel is in a good location. The staff were very helpful. The views from the room were lovely. Breakfast was typical Spanish beautiful bread made locally with jamón and tomato. Freshly squeezed orange juice and good quality coffee. The restaurant has a good menu - although it doesn't cater very well for vegetarians.

Guests need to be mindful that the hotel is at one of the highest points of the village. It means that you always have a steep walk back when out exploring the village and surrounding areas.
