Hotel Baco

Location is excellent - everything our want to see/do is within a 30 minute easy walk away. The building is stunning and the room was really comfortable. Bed was a good size, room included a kettle and 2 mugs and some chamomile tea. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and a good size. Rooms have lovely shutters on the windows which keep it cool on the day and nice and dark at night. Staff were really friendly and helpful, spoke perfect English and were always on hand if you needed anything.

Shower pressure is quite low, making it tricky to wash long hair. Road outside is very noisy all through the night until about 4/5am - traffic noise from buses (the usual road noise plus the hissing or hydraulics) and what sounded like road sweepers (?) seemed worse at night than at any point during the day.

Opposite bus terminals, few meters away from shopping areas and tourist spots. Despite facing mainroad, it was quiet

The location of the hotel is very central. They have 24 hours reception. The bed is firm and the sheets were crisp and white and v clean. The shower is good also. We stayed at the hotel for only one night and we could have easily done more nights. The staircase is impressive. We would come back to this hotel again. Hotel Baco has everything you need for a good solid stay.

They do not serve breakfast, if you are a traveller then it would be good to have something available. Maybe they could have a method of ordering food but that said, there are a few restaurants around so you are not starving. We enjoyed our stay.

Very clean, traditional older building. Original wood and tiles, but really well preserved. Bathroom was large and modern. Nice rooftop for use and fresh coffee near the office in the morning. This hotel is close to all sights, great outdoor cafes and restaurants, and all the shopping one could ask for! The staff spoke English, which was somewhat relieving as we struggled with Spanish.

No complaints. 20 - 25 minute walk to the train, but city buses stop right by the hotel.

Lovely building with beautiful tiles on the stairs. Roof terrace, unfortunately not lit at night but great for relaxing during the day. Very comfortable bed. Well located for Las Setas and the bus station.

Not much natural light in the room. Lights were strange. Erratic shower temperature. Patchy internet connection on the wi-fi.

The hotel is located centrally within walking distance of main tourist attractions. This is the second time I book in this hotel and so far I have not been disappointed. Rooms are comfortable, clean, have all you need and no noise from the roads could be heard. AC worked too. Staff is always very helpful and informative.

would have liked a breakfast facility. Complimentary coffee available but nothing to eat as previously mentioned (wrapped croissants).

Location- it's situated near the center of the city. Kettle inside the room and morning coffee is a good bonus. Rooftop balcony is nice to have.

Even though they have a proper desk and chair but it's lend against the end of your bed, so putting you in an uncomfortable position if you need to get something done using your laptop. Interior of the bathroom is little deteriorate but everything are working fine.

Pros: - Friendly and helpful staff (always happy to help) - Great location - Coffee - Good price - Comfortable bed - Exceptionally clean - Bath/ hairdryer - Felt very safe Thank you for a great stay! I would stay here again with the same budget!

Cons -Thin walls without much soundproofing but it wouldn't put me off staying here again. This is probably the norm with such buildings.

Location is perfect, close to all the main attractions but also walking distance to the train station and shuttle bus to the airport. Staff members were great, when I had problems with my room they were responsive and made themselves available to help. They also took time to give me recommendations for things to see

Bathroom was not very cleaned when I arrived, but as soon as I reported the problem, staff were super helpful and cleaned it as I was out sightseeing.
