Location was perfect right in the heart of the busy old Santa Cruz area of Seville with varied short walks through many narrow cobbled stone streets & tight paths opening out onto atmospheric courtyards & plazas usually filled with heavily laden orange & lemon trees down into the centre, dominated by the huge historic Cathedral y Giralda and many more architecturally impressive & colourful buildings, free or cheap to visit and enter in most instances...Reales Alcazar Palace & Gardens a must, simply stunning (perhaps not the easiest place to gain entry though...you will need proof of I.D.). We enjoy walking and exploring ourselves but the open top double decker sight-seeing buses are worth travelling on to get an initial overview and orientation of all the main districts together with a brief audio history before deciding where you want to allocate your time for more in-depth discovery. Our hotel was a mini reflection of the surrounding area, colourfully painted buildings, open planted suntrap courtyards fed by a warren of tight stone and terracotta paths, walkways & mysterious tunnels of discovery, loved it. A large cave-like spa facility is available under the hotel whilst above great views across the city and sun-lounging on the extensive roof top terraces with a swimming pool too. Our 1st floor apartment was well appointed, big comfortable bed with a large fully tiled stone bathroom, large vanity his & hers washbasins, large shower enclosure, jacuzzi bath, toilet & bidet, maintained and cleaned daily. We kept it to 'room only' always preferring to find & eat breakfast, lunch & dinner out; Seville has a lifetimes worth of cafes, bars and restaurants to experience.

Be prepared to walk into cafes and bars to request use of their toilet facilities if, like us, you drink too much coffee, and constantly get caught short!...Seville has few public 'servicios' facilities.

Location was very central to exploring the city. The breakfast was very good, could have started earlier than 8:00am. The room was very comfortable, AC was very good considering the temps were over 100 F. The plants in the walking areas were exceptional.

I had no issues or problems Stayed three nights and no problems. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

The hotel consists of a large number of houses which made up the former Jewish quarter of Seville. They are all linked by various passages, courtyards and tunnels which form one beautiful hotel as interesting as any of the local attractions. Each of the 'houses' has a different character. I didn't particularly like my room, nothing wrong with it - just a matter of taste, and the hotel management moved me to a room I liked. Top service!! The valet parking and porter service also made arrival very comfortable.

I loved this hotel so much! It is beautiful, historic, atmospheric, and just oozing with charm. If you are looking for a modern hotel, this might not be for you. We had a lot of fun exploring all the little courtyards and nooks and crannies, and the tunnels underneath the hotel. We had paid for the most basic room but the lovely staff upgraded us on arrival. The rooftop pool is such a treat. We didn’t eat breakfast or dinner at the hotel, so can’t comment on that.

People reserve the sun loungers by the pool with a towel - so can be hard to find a place to read by the pool in the shade.

Staff were great, especially night staff in reception and at the pool bar . The character of the hotel is so lovely. It's so interesting and quirky. Beautiful gardens and plants. Lots of terraces everywhere. The bathroom was incredible . So plush and the tiles in the shower were amazing. Huge shower head and serious water pressure for such an old building. Loved the pool area. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

It's hard not to get lost , you just start to find your way around the hotel and you have to leave! The floors were very creaky in the bedroom. The room was very dark which I understand some people like in the heat..... Mosquito nets would have been very useful..I didn't sleep much the last night with all the mosquitos. If you like history , character and a relaxed ambience this hotel is perfect. I loved it overall

Stayed at the Hotel for a week in September 2023 for my Wife's Birthday. Great location and close to all Seville's attractions! Very attentive Staff! The rooms were cleaned daily, and the Roof top pool to use at the end of the day was a fantastic bonus to escape the Seville heat! We would definitely stay at this Hotel again if visiting Seville.

The Hotel comprises of 27x historic Seville Houses turned into a Hotel. Whilst its great investigating the winding courtyards and stairwells. If you experience difficulty walking, then this may not be suitable for you! The Breakfast provided was of a good quality, but the bacon, egg and beans were only luke- warm.

We arrived late, hot & tired. The staff were very welcoming & suggested we drop our bags & have a late night drink in the square across from the hotel, it felt as if our holiday truly started as soon as we arrived. The hotel itself is exceptional. Our room was away from the main hotel building, in a beautiful courtyard reached via the maze of tunnels that interlink each area. The room was huge, with a sitting area, stunning bathroom & small internal patio, a very nice surprise as I didn't know beforehand which room would be ours specifically. All of the linen, towels etc were beautifully laundered & abundant, the bed itself was high, wide & wonderfully comfortable. The best thing about the hotel is it's proximity to the main tourist areas, whilst being far enough away to remain peaceful. The roof top pool is also a wonderful bonus & very welcome after a hot day visiting the incredible sights of Seville.

Although the room is dark, being situated in a courtyard, you don't really have an idea of day & night. However this works to the rooms advantange in lots of ways, as it remains lovely & cool in the Andalusian heat.

Lovely friendly check in staff, we were able to leave our bags securely until our room was ready. When we returned we were taken to our rooms by a very smiley concierge who made us very welcome. We had budget double rooms which were very spacious, beautifully clean with a huge comfortable bed and lots of wardrobe space. The hotel is so quirky without losing any of the Sevillian charm. It was an adventure each time we left the hotel finding our way, great fun. The location is perfect, some cute bars and cafés right on the doorstep. We would definitely return to Hotel Las Casas de La Judería and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Seville.

The only thing was the rooms were a little dark but that's to be expected given the style. Not really a problem, just a comment.

Stunning hotel, so quirky and oozing with charm. Plant-filled courtyards, underground passageways, trickling fountains and a stunning rooftop pool and terrace - our kids (5 and 7) were in heaven here, despite staying during peak summer heat. Friendly and accommodating staff, perfect location to explore Seville's old town streets and sights on foot. We had two economy rooms, both of which were spacious and cool, with comfortable beds - and luckily for us, adjacent. In all likelihood you will get lost, but that just added to the fun of staying here. A very special place, we can't wait to return!

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as it would have worked out pretty expensive for a family of 4, but there were plenty local cafes in the vicinity where you can grab a decent breakfast (I'd recommend pan con tomate, cheap and tasty!)
