The highlight of this hotel is the location to easily walk into Tarragona, and the hotel pool, resturant area is very good. There are plenty of sun beds and seating around the pool and the reception area is modern and clean, if a little sterile. Breakfast, mainly of a continental style, is also good.

Some of the room furniture is looking warn out and needs replacing, upgrading to match the external apperance of the hotel itself and main public areas, so the room was a little dissapointing. The bath and combined shower was too small. Parking should be free for the hotel costs and not charged at an addtional rate.

Our room was available for us on arrival even though it was only 10.30am. Our room was spacious (family room city view) and ideal for us and our teenage daughter, we had two balconies facing the town. The pool area was lovely and the pool itself warm and spotless, plenty of sunbeds and sun all day. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely time and will return! Tarragona itself is great and the old town and the port best for dining out. Arrabassada beach is fabulous and you can hire sunbeds, pedaloes and there is a a nice restaurant (three locations on the beach) for lunch. Breakfast at the hotel was simply but plentiful, we found it ideal.

I would have liked to stay longer! It would be nice to have gym facilities.

Beautiful hotel, surrounded by garden and areas to relax. The restaurant is big and with swimming pool view. The rooms are spacious and I stayed in one with view to the swimming pool and ones can see the beach not that far. At night the lights of the big ship are nice. Quite place, staff is nice. Extra point for the two girls in the restaurant (couldn't get their names) since it was busy, but they gave the extra mile in customer service. As vegan I did not have many options for the breakfast, but they got for me Oat Milk and vegan bread, it is not the quantity but the service what matters, they were checking on me if I needed anything else, of if there was something else that I can eat for them to bring, always with a smile and courtesy. Coming from Madrid, the hotel can be accessed by bus, one from the Camp Tarragona to Tarragona Bus station and then you can walk (If you love to walk) or take the bus 11 and it leaves you one block far to the Hotel. The hotel is near the historic places and the famous Mediterranean Balcony, and the Rambla Nova which is a pedestrian long street, beautiful to walk and find places to eat. Be aware that restaurants opens at 8pm the majority of them, we struggled to get a place to eat after arrived from Madrid. Fully recommended the Venezuelan Restaurant: The Cube Day and Japanese : Sakura Marina. Definitely something to do: The Yellow Train, a tour around the city only 9€. Ask for the Mamadeta and the Vermut.

Room to improve in terms of cleanliness: few details omitted, like change the glasses and refill the soap and body cream, we were two of us and at our arrival the levels were already low, As well the fridge looked like it was not used for a while. It was clean in general, bed clothes and towels all clean but only those other small details. All good in general.

we had a family room for us and our two children. We didn't know what to expect exactly. We were so pleased that the sleeping areas were separated, like a one bedroom apartment. the large bathroom sat in between. comfortable beds, modern design, crisp sheets. we loved it! We were only there one night as a stopover before flying out of Barcelona the next day. Tarragona center is walkable. We did not visit the beach to swim, but drove by and it looked wonderful.-clear and calm with soft sand. If we had stayed longer, we would have enjoyed everything.

parking garage was tight like in most of spain. this wasn't a a big deal, but the floor of the garage (where we paid additional for parking) needs to be upgraded to address potholes and concrete dust on floor

A fantastic hotel. Modern room and spotlessly clean throughout. It was very quiet by the pool, meaning it was easy to work there throughout the day. Very friendly breakfast staff.

The pool was lovely, although a little cold for me, plus it would be nice if there were some gym facilities. As a vegetarian, the hot food breakfast options were limited (scrambled eggs only). The wifi was temperamental in my room, but worked very well elsewhere in the hotel.

We stayed here for one night on our road trip from Switzerland to our holiday home in Alicante. Excellent value for money. We were a little worried after reading some of the reviews but needn’t have been! This was the perfect haven after a long journey with our 4 year old. The communal areas of the hotel are beautiful and have been recently renovated, (as had our bathroom which was gorgeous with plenty of towels and lovely products and extras ). Whilst it’s true the bedroom itself still contained some of the older furniture, the fresh grey paint gave the place a modern, fresh look. Bedding was crisp white and plush, and we had a wonderful wrap around balcony with views of the pool and even the sea. The pool was lovely and a welcome oasis from the heat. We had frosty cold beers served with a smile. The beach was around an 8 min walk, and we ate afterwards at a beach side bar and restaurant where the staff were attentive and the food and wine decent. Breakfast at the hotel at 9 Euros per person was great value - fresh fruit, pastries, scrambled eggs, toast, delicious juices and the best coffee I’ve had for some time in Spain. So good we booked to stay again on our return trip home to Switzerland - requested the same room and got it. There were no parking places and a member of staff actually moved her car so there we could use it! How wonderful! On this occasion we walked into Tarragona the town and boy are we glad did it was beautiful, cobbled streets, exceptional architecture, atmosphere, views, and restaurants. Perfectly located for exploring Tarragona itself.

It was very clean, modern and relaxing. Great pool. Quite enjoyed the restaurant menu. Air con was effective. Bed was comfortable. Shower was very good. Staff were lovely. The location isn’t glamorous but two beaches, the old town and the rest of the city are all within walking distance.

This is very minor but a mirror in the room as well as the bathroom, and a few more coat hangers, would have been useful.

Food was amazing we had tried lunch and tea there Staff were so helpful and friendly, they recommended lots of different eating places and bars, also all spoke really good English Pool area with bar was great Bed was comfy and balcony had chairs and table which was nice The beach closest to the hotel wasn’t as nice as the one a bit further away which had a beach bar area with food and drinks and had clearer water

The room smelt a little of stale cigarettes like it hadn’t been aired out The toilet leaked a little bit

The hotel was lovely and seemed much more expensive than it was. Serene atmosphere. Helpful, but not pushy staff. Lovely quality beds, excellent rooms. Very good value breakfast and drinks and food extremely reasonable.

The background music by the pool started to drive me mad after a few days. Very innocuous at first, quiet and serene- but elevator version of ‘thriller’and ‘another one bites the dust’ tipped me over the edge!

Location was excellent, room was comfortable.

There was a problem with the water heating during the night, so we we were just able to get a shower in the morning. Regarding the bed there's a AC outlet only in one side of it. So only my wife was able to charge her phone/watch. And, as the table AC/DC outlet was not working I had to let my phone and watch charging in the bathroom. Which is never a good option to let wires and expensive electronics near a sink in the dark... Also there's lighting in the balcony that the guest is not able to shut down. So there was a little bit of light coming from the window (nothing too much).
