Really liked the hotel and the staff. Very friendly and nice employees. Regarding the hotel I liked a lot the location, it’s close to the old city, close to pubs, restaurants. Also worth mentioning is that in the immediate proximity you can find a supermarket on the street right next to it and also multiple little shops along the city center which have a prolonged schedule (you find them open also at midnight).

The rooms are not sound-proofed. Unfortunately had a room where the bed was right next to the wall which was hallway wall and therefore heard everything from the hallway. Each time someone passed by or opened a door you could hear it. It’s not an issue during the day, but at night it wasn’t that easy to sleep.

Location was fantastic, a short walk from the main old town and across the road from the park(dry river bed) Great location to Hire a bike and ride along the park all the way to the beech. Staff were alway helpful and approachable, the roof top bar is a nice place to sit and watch the day turn to night but don't expect to do lengths in the pool, its more a hot tub to be honest and located next to the bar.

Room faced the main road and traffic was heavy as there are traffic lights a hundred meters away meaning traffic ques outside on weekdays and from early hours. The Room was a strange shape making getting around the bed a mission to the wardrobe. To drown the traffic noise we kept the windows shut and air con on, unfortunately the air con unit is above the bed directly over head

Breakfast was very nice, good quality and selection, we received a nice surprise for our wedding anniversary, there is a self service laundry right next to the hotel which was very handy and a small supermarket just around the corner with very reasonably priced food and drinks

No view from balcony as you looked out to trees not the park maybe a higher floor would have good views, air conditioning is above the bed so quite breezy on your face, roof top bar very small and you can’t order pizza until 8pm, €20 deposit to use a pool towel that you have to get from reception

Location is 10/10, right beside Torres de Serranos & Turia Gardens and only a few minutes from Plaza de la Virgen (our favourite spot for dinner). Rooftop terrace is fantastic, both at night time and in the morning. Service here very good at night time and staff full of energy. Lovely view in the morning time. Breakfast was perfect - plenty to choose from and the lady working was very friendly and helpful. Front-desk staff arranged a taxi for my mother to the train station very quickly.

The noise from the street was a little bothering, as our room was located at the front of the building.

It was our second stay in this hotel. We like the localisation and in general the hotel itself if nice. Convinient rooms, nice bar on the roof and good breakfast.

After two days, the soap under the shower run out. We kept asking for replacement but this was too difficult task ;-) as the receptionists were taking notes and still we didn't get the soap for the remining days. Also, we asked to stay a little longer on the day of checkout in at least one of the rooms but it was not possible. I think there is no willingness to go even one step forward towards the clients needs (we had the same rejection during the first stay). I understand that they need to clean the rooms but one hour wouldn't hurt - I think this is just hotel's policy.

Super nice and welcomning staff. Charming Interior - expectations by the pictures were totally fulfilled. Delicoius Breakfast (with local specialities like tarta de patatas as you will find it on the Mercat Central). Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. I booked the room with a balcony and it‘s super cute. Room was facing a mainstreet - so, in case you are a light sleeper I‘d recommend a room without balcony facing the side street (d‘Orfens). Drinks and Tapas on the rooftop Bar were just perfect. Next to the Hotel You’ll find a small supermarket (carrefour), a pharmacy with very competent Pharmacists. And on top of that: El Carme is just the loveliest hood in Valencia! We felt very comfortable strolling through the city by foot and bike (which you can rent nearby without desposit with a card from the Hotel). We‘ll definitly come back soon!

I have stayed in this hotel before, and have recommended it to other friends who have also stayed here and returned, as would I if I were in Valencia again. The location is second-to-none, close to all the many bars and cafes and restaurants of the Barrio Carmen, a minute or two walk from the Torres de Serrans/ Torres de Serranos which are a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Mercat and the Llotja. So you can walk to many of the most beautiful buildings in Valencia from this hotel. When I've stayed before, in summer, the rooftop pool and bar have been open but we still really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the fabulous views of the city from the rooftop lounge area.

I don't think I've ever shared a room before when staying here and I did find the room very small for two adults --- there wasn't much space between the beds, and very little space between them and the wardrobe, table etc But the location is so great you don't want to spend much time in the room and when we wanted to take a break from sightseeing and travelling we went upstairs to the rooftop and made use of the loungers and chairs up there.

Perfect location, lovely hotel and staff. Seeing note about the small room whcih we booked below, if/when we get back to Lecce, we will definitely try to stay here again. Look out for the home pastries (local) pastries at breakfast - hard to resist.

We booked a small room and yes, it was small. That that was on us and meant limited space for bags and clothes but what didn't work was the bathroom - there were no shelves for toiletires. None. This mean using the bidet for your washbag or leaving it in the main room. So the lesson is; don't book the small room but do come and stay here :o)

the location was incredible, such close proximity to all the top rated bars and restaurants, and perfect for exploring the rest of the old town. The trams were nearby too and extremely easy to use, connecting you to the beach and the airport. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar and dipping pool were such a wonderful touch at the end of a long day exploring in the sun.

The bed's were quite hard, and the service in the rooftop bar could be very slow, with the cocktails not always made to a desired standard.

Good location close to old town, lovely spacious and clean rooms. Nice seating on rooftop. Lovely interior design in reception area.

The rooftop bar is only open Thursday-Sunday. Taxi shuttle was more expensive than just getting a normal taxi
