We found it an excellent choice for our last night in Sri Lanka, before an early morning flight. Mr Lahiru has 4 rooms to rent in his private house, located in a quite and rather dark neighborhood. The room offers exceptionally high value for money. Clean, large enough, good hot shower and a real air conditioner - not easy to come by in Sri Lanka. Mr Lahiru is very kind and attending, and was happy to take us to the airport at 6am for 1,000r. A tuk tuk from the airport cost us 300r, after long negotiation.

Limited dining options nearby. But there's nothing wrong with the local fried rice served in family restaurants in the main street.

I recently stayed at Lahiru Airport Villa, located just 3 km from Bandaranaike Airport, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. The property is incredibly neat and clean, offering a natural and serene view that provides a perfect escape. However, what truly made my stay exceptional was the owner. He is a genuinely kind and friendly person, always well-behaved and eager to help. During our stay, he went above and beyond by taking us to Negombo Beach in his own car, joining us for dinner, and even driving us to the airport despite the bad weather. His hospitality made me feel as though I was staying with a relative rather than at a rental property. I highly recommend Lahiru Airport Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place near the airport. The personal touch and care provided by the host make it a standout choice. everything was just great! bed big and comfy, hot shower, fast wifi, mirrow, small wardrobe, clean towels and blankets, kettle and Nescafé, fridge, safe, small couch & table. owner allways helpful and nice. supermarket just next door with tasty peaches and cherrys. hotel is just a 3 Minute walk from Taksim square and no noise when windows are closed. we had a great stay and would go again to this hotel :)

The host was very kind and hospitable. Room is very clean with enough and clean towels. There were everything needed in the room. Feel like home. The host woke up at night and called tuk tuk for us to the airport. Great place, especially, if you need a place near airport.

The location is great, it is close by the airport and there are some shops and a gym nearby. The owner is a kind man, he offered to take me to the city and in the evening he brought me to a nice food market. For a small fee, he drove me to the airport at 2 AM.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Wifi worked well. The host took us to the airport early in the morning (5.45am) for a charge of 1000 rupees. Bathroom was very clean. There was a fridge in the common area we could use. A perfect place for a cheap one night stay.

Extremely helpful, hospitable owner. We booked on short notice to stay overnight for a middle of night flight from Colombo. The host drove us to a great restaurant to pick up dinner, and then later drove us to the airport at 3am. Facilities were comfortable and clean.

The amazing hospitality of the owner blew my mind. He is so helpful and kind. Came to pick us up at the airport. And literally helped with everything like a family. Thank you so much for making our experience so amazing

Everything was good

This is really airport villa, it's just 10 mints with auto (tuk tuk) and the owner treats like a family member, it was nice room I got in very cheap and view from villa is awesome. No disturbance and it's calm. I could say it's worthy.

What I don't like power cuts, it's a problem in srilanka now (energy crisis running through out the country) so there is nothing to do with the hotel even they can't run generators due to lack of diesel available in country.

It was very close to the airport and we were picked up on arrival by the owner. We were in transit and he helped us with onward travel, food and other requirements we had on arriving in Sri Lanka. He was kind and thoughtful.
