Amagi Aria Airport Transit Hotel

The room was very spacious, clean, and had the amenities we needed. Breakfast was delicious it was a very wide buffet spread. The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. The location is great. Special thanks to ' Sachini ' in the reception for the special welcome smile. And All the receptionist are very helpful Menaka , Malika ,Kusal and dhushanti. For Giving me that feelings as we are not just guest but Family. Housekeeping staffs are very helpful and everyday come and clean my room.. very helpful in everything.. Amagi Aria Hotel General Manager , Resident Manager , All the manager and staffs are very friendly and ready to response in anytime.Special thanks to F n B Manager krishantha , Devindi Sadunika , Madhura sathsara for the special treat when ever I go to the restaurant. Beautiful room with a view of sunset over the Lagoon fishermen lots of birds & a suburb balcony where we could sit & watch Stayed here with my daughter & grandaughter at no extra charge Bed was very comfortable Pool looks amazing wish we had time! Very modern stylish building on a beautiful Lagoon Extremely impressive We also were impressed with Friday night seafood buffet better than Hilton Hambantota buffet My free transport to Colombo airport was ready at 4am & a beautiful new van I certainly recommend this beautiful accommodation It's very peaceful & relaxing I will return for a longer stay

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The service at the Restaurant was excellent. In the midst of all there was one soul who really, from her heart, took care of us, from day one to the end. That's Anousha F&B Manager, genuine from her heart. Also thanks for the food, Chef. Anousha is an asset. I have no hesitation in recommending her. She did a great job.

Too many Crows made too many noise during the day.

My husband and I did not plan to have heavy breakfast Because we had super delicious dinner at hotel it was far beyond our expectation but we walked Catermaran restaurant to drink coffee and have a light meal for breakfast. We couldn’t able stop taste those morning dishes. All bites we had amazing taste with colorful mini food items. We had food, facing lagoon view it was amazing experience. Atmosphere and food made our stay memorable and weekend more relaxation, that gives boost for us to reduce our stress in workplace. Staff nice as well. Thank you so much Amagi. We will visit again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Amagi Aria Hotel in Negombo, and I must say it was an excellent experience! One of the standout features of the hotel was the spacious and clean room, which made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The delicious breakfast served at the hotel was also a highlight, and I looked forward to it every morning. However, what really made my stay special was the stunning view from my room. It was absolutely breathtaking and truly enhanced the overall experience of staying at the hotel. As a seafood lover, I was also delighted to discover that the Moya Seafood restaurant at the hotel was the best place in Negombo to enjoy fresh and export-quality seafood. The view from the restaurant was equally impressive and added to the already fantastic dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend the Amagi Aria Hotel for anyone visiting Negombo. The combination of spacious and clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and stunning views make it an excellent choice for any traveler. And if you love seafood, you absolutely cannot miss dining at the Moya Seafood restaurant!

The food could use some improvement. But other than that we loved everything else about the place. It was quiet for the most part. We were there longer than the usual transit time, it got very busy on the weekend with families, but it wasn’t too crazy loud. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a beautiful location on the Negombo lagoon and close to the airport and other restaurants. We picked this place because it was close to family.

The bathrooms were a bit smelly. There was mold in the bathrooms as well. It could use a bit of maintenance, but given the situation in the country, we understood that was probably not an option right now.

very nice place with a s great welcome. the reception is really good and they help on every questions I had ! they never say no and always find a solution. nice room and nice view of the lagoon.

It has a great party atmosphere. Everything is available on your doorstep. The hotel does a great job of blending family entertainment and late night adult party entertainment in one venue. The food variety, quality and taste was superb. The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

That I only discovered it now after visiting Negombo for the past 9 years!

Lovely, modern rooms, super clean and comfortable. Beautiful views of the lagoon, nice pool area. Good cocktails, good food (although rolling power cuts made it difficult to order from the full menu) Attentive service all around.

Communication was unusually difficult to manage. We contacted the property ahead of time about a change to the reservation which they didn’t respond to, and when we called were very unhelpful. It was a huge mess just to change a reservation. The term “fitness center” doesn’t really apply to the facility. A small hot room with broken equipment. When we arranged an airport taxi they also got the time wrong.

The location is great, close to the airport and that was the reason for choosing this hotel as my flight arrived late, and it would be difficult to travel somewhere far at night. The hotel has 24 hours desk, very friendly staff. Also it is located in a very beautiful spot, right near the lagoon and it had spectacular views from my balcony. I decided to try Sri Lankan authentic breakfast and it was delicious. Overall it was very pleasant stay. Room was spacious and very comfortable.

The only thing, wifi worked only in my room, but not in common areas.
