The room was very comfortable in general. The showers were fantastic. The bed (double) was very comfortable, the couch where the kids were was ok. The breakfast was absolutely phenomenal, we looked forward to it each morning. It was a lovely hotel, great stay would definitely return.

- The tv is antique and only local channels so no access to Netflix etc. - The kids had a sofa bed, it was fine but I would have preferred proper beds. I thought it would have been nice if they had bath robes too but not a big deal just would have been a nice detail. - Not too impressed with a charge to check in early but all in all a wonderful stay.

Breakfast provided a wide choice of foodstuffs, good quality. As usual with buffets, easy once you got to know where things were located! Excellent coffee. Room was pleasant and with a 'Juliette' balcony, which we needed as there was no fan or air-conditioning and it was a warm period, so had to leave the balcony door open for air. Hotel is very centrally located so finding the university etc was easy. It was very nice to stroll around Lund in the early morning before it was busy!

No kettle in the room. The bed was slightly 'bouncy'.

The location is perfect in this beautiful hotel. The staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, and both dinner and breakfast were good. This is one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to. Highly recommendable hotel.

The only very small minus is that the windows don't block the noises out from the town very well, but on the other hand, the windows are large and beautiful, and it's an old building, so I would not actually like to complain about it.

A very caring and professional staff on every count. Their meals are the very best and on leaving before breakfast as we headed to the Copenhagen Airport, they suggested that they make a breakfast for the three of us. They also arranged for a taxi to take us from the hotel to the airport(a company they use regularly). Thirty-three minutes later and pleasant conversation we were in Copenhagen.

Could not think of anything wrong on the Grand Hotel's part.

Beautiful Hôtel friendly staff and the restaurant was fantastic. It was very busy and had a great vibe! Our first room was perfect with full walk in shower and larger comfy bed Coffee served on our floor daily!!!

Honestly the only thing we didn’t like was we got moved to a new room as we stayed longer. It was a comfy room however the tub had no curtain to have a stand up shower. It was very odd as we are use to walk in showers not bathing l

The staff in the bar area were wonderful (I never caught the name, but a man with glasses was excellent, very attentive and on-point, he could 'read the room' in my group and had a delightful, friendly and fun personality- he also offered to help me with my bag as I was about to check-in to the hotel).

The room was really hot, and the windows opened just a crack. When I opened the windows fully it was dangerous (We were on the 4th floor with a 5 year old, the windows are large and close to the ground). The check-in staff could have been more welcoming and informative- we were told our room number and the time for breakfast, and that was it.

The breakfast was very good with an attentive staff, desk staff. The dinner was even better. That is superb.

The bath has towels that are much too heavy and we would prefer individual soap and shampoo rather than using liquid containers attached to the wall. Awkward at best and my shampoo was empty.

The hotel is old and so unique and tons of character. The food at breakfast was fantastic and the outdoor patio awesome. Location perfect!

Only one complaint, the towels are a bit old and hard. Highly recommend investing in new white vibrant towels.

Everything! The staff was wonderful, especially Marcus. He was our go-to person, and he saved the day for us without hesitation regarding any and all requests for assistance. The location m, property, facilities, cleanliness, amenities, and dining were appreciated by our family and friends.

The location was fantastic as we were in the very centre. Parking was conveniently located nearby plus the staff were very courteous and helpful. The buffet breakfast was outstanding, a real highlight of our stay and very indulgent. Our kids loved that we could make our own waffles plus there was a juicer set up with fresh vegetables to make your own, it was brilliant.

A separate shower would have been lovely instead of trying to shower whilst sitting in the bath but l understand that the bathroom had very bespoke features and was keeping with the style of the Hotel 👍
