The place is not in the city center but you can easily reach it by bus, which stop is at the door. You can reach the center of the city in about 20 minutes walking through the cemetery, which is a beautiful walk, because its gardens are very well maintained. The food is a bit monotonous but it's okay. You can make yourself waffles for breakfast.

The refrigerator in my room was not working and I asked to have it replaced with one that worked. They offered me a room change, but I couldn't understand why the refrigerator couldn't be changed instead of the room. Finally, I stayed in my room because I liked its spaciousness and the comfort of the bed, compared to the options they offered me. Anyway, I consider that Place Lund is a good place to stay in Lund.

Breakfast had a sufficient variety. Dinners were decent and receiving half board, makes for excellent value for the money. Staff were friendly, especially the red/pink haired lady that works in the breakfast/dinner room. Free bikes were handy and fun to ride in this flat town. The cemetary just down the road is amazing for walking through on the way to town.....huge old trees line the pathway. Our room was a little small for 2 adults but we make the best of it. Lund is a lovely town too.

Our relative was by herself and had a much bigger room that my husband and I. The exterior of the building is very basic and uninteresting but the beautiful town itself makes up for it.

I liked the location - just about 10-15 minutes walking distance to the centre through the cemetery shortcut, bus stop is also very close - at the end of the street. I liked the size of the room, though the furniture is not super modern and surely remembers a lot, everything was functioning and perfectly clean. The garden and terrace were also very nice and the breakfast buffet too. There was an option to make your own waffles, children enjoyed that a lot. Apart from that there was sufficient variety of bread, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, cereals, yogurts, coffee, tea, juices, salad bar. Dinners were more simple - just one meal, but it was always tasty, nothing to complain about. For example there were ikea meat balls with gravy and mashed potatoes, or chicken asian style with rice.

The place had a good vibe, I liked it all, maybe the only thing to mention is that when we wanted to rent the bikes (the hotel offers them for free), there were only last three bikes available, one had the brake broken a the other one had a pedal missing, so we decided to rent proper and safe bikes in the city as we went for a longer trip to Lomma beach. There is an option to lock the bikes in front of the hotel overnight.

Place Lund was easy to find. We were travelling with a car and hotel had a parking place about 100 meters from the hotel (100SEK = 9€). During the check-inn we left our car near the front door. The personnel was very nice. Breakfast was very good and the dining hall was cozy. Beds were excellent, so were the pillows and duvets were warm.

The room was a bit cold. But it was below -10 Celsius during our visit so it was understandable. It isn't that cold often in Lund. Luckily the duvets were extra warm and we slept well.

Good place to stay. Close to the University and short bus travel from the station. A bit simple but good enough place to stay. Good WiFi. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.

Dinner may be improved, especially keeping in mind that breakfast is very good. Very limited TV channels at least in my room. Maybe just needs tuning.

I am a guy, you can easily buy me with food. That dinner included in the price was fantastic! I was lucky enough to have some „homemade” spareribs! Normally I would rate this hotel very low, but that dinner, that day made me happy. Breakfast was OK, not that many options. Friendly staff. Thank you.

The hotel needs some serious renovation inside and outside.

The personnel was very helpful. The rooms were very clean and smelled nice. Although the breakfast was modest, it was good and we loved the pancakes!

The rooms might need a refreshment, because it is possible to see a lot of aesthetic damages on the walls and furniture. The TV didn't work. It is a pity that no one is in the reception after 22h, because it would be important for someone arriving late that could not get food somewhere else.

Really nice hotel with a very good price/performance ratio. Close to the city center and the university campus (walking distance) and on the same time a very quiet neighbourhood. Possibility to have breakfast and dinner included. For dinner they serve one dish, but that's fine for the price. We liked it very much and will come again on our next trip to Lund.

Delicious dinner as well as breakfast included. Lovely villagey feel, with pleasant gardens. Located on the university campus but walkable to the city centre - alternatively there was an excellent frequent bus service, with a stop a few 100m away. Spacious, elegant rooms. Fun basement kids interactive play and reading area.

Comfy place to stay, clean room. Good dinner (18-19.30, red chicken curry with rice, vegetables, complimentary water) and breakfast (fresh waffles, pastry, fruit..). Very nice staff. Goof location- 20 mins drive to Malmö.

Parking fee 50 SKK per night at a parking place about 200 metres from the entrance. Wifi did not reach our room.
