The captain's cabin was very cosy, the heating worked well (which was a big plus, given it was -16 outside!). The bed was very comfortable, and the room was perfectly clean. A short walk to Mariatorget, and a lovely spot on the water. The Thai restaurant on board was excellent, we ate there two out of four days!

There was a mix up in communication, we were told that late check-out (1pm) would be possible for a fee (which we were fine with), this was somehow not logged, so we were told by housekeeping at 11:15 that it was not possible, and that we needed to be out by 12. Happily, they did not charge us for this, however.

- Super clean sheets and towels - The crew was very nice and helpful :) - Excellent location - It was quite an adventure itself to sleep on a boat - big kitchen available for guests - very good shower water pressure - this seems to be a problem in so many accomodations; I have pretty long and thick hair, and rinsing the shampoo out of it with low water pressure is a nightmare, so, a big plus here! - easy room access - hairdryer available at the reception desk - fantastic option for budget travellers - we didn't use these facilities, but you can order breakfast or have a dinner in the restaurant on the main boat, which is a plus of course

- it wasn't super inconvenient, but bear in mind that the walls are on the thinner side, and if people in other rooms behave loudly, you'll probably hear it - could do with more mugs, knives, forks and spoons in the kitchen, but we managed of course :) - the bathrooms could do with a little bit of refurbishing, but were clean and everything worked, so it's not a super big deal

The location is within walking distance of major attractions and the view across the water is beautiful. You can comfortably watch the sunset on the dock. The room was bigger than expected: a bunk bed, table with chair, and wardrobe were more than enough for a 2-person 2-night stay. The shared bathrooms and showers were surprisingly pristine. The entire place is very well looked-after and extremely clean.

I have nothing negative to say about the facilities themselves. The staff are also amazing. The one thing to keep in mind is that ships don't offer the same insulation as regular walls and, therefore, sound travels. Guests walking through the halls or in the rooms above are louder than you would expect. For those who are light sleepers, I highly recommend earplugs.

The view from my window was so stunning (frozen lake, city hall, lights, and sunrise in the morning 😍). The room was comfortable and warm, my private bathroom was also clean. Love it!

I could hear noises outside my room but it was still okay.

I was pleasantly surprised by this stay. It was on the cheaper side of accommodation options but really the room was perfect for a short stay. It was so warm, my water view was wonderful, it was clean and comfy bed and I appreciated the use of a kitchen to make breakfast in the morning. Unique place to stay.

It is a little way from any metro stations and I did not realise that getting there would be a huge trek down steep embankments with all of my luggage. Not a fault of the hotel but hopefully it helps someone to know to get off at the metro Mariatorget and walk down the main road as it is step free. Any other station is lots of stairs to the river side or super steep ( icy in winter) hills. I realised the hotel sent instructions too late, maybe make it clear well in advance not sending the day guests arrive.

Super location, waking up each morning to wonderful views through the several large windows across the water. Within relatively easy walking distance of the Gamla Stan. Being on the water added to the experience. Our accommodation came with a small lounge area with sofa, chairs and tables and a separate bedroom. Excellent Thai restaurant on the main ship, with discount for those staying at the hotel.

Be aware that in addition to the main ship, there are two barges with accommodation, so you may not be on the more attractive ship. As you would expect with a ship, there are gangways and stairs to negotiate (which we saw as part of the experience, but may be a problem for some). Furnishings were basic rather than luxurious. Bed was very firm, which may suit some (e.g. me) but not others (e.g. my wife). Be prepared for other guests walking past your windows, including the bathroom window, which had frosted glass but no blind.

The cabin for two people was obviously not big but it was surprisingly comfy with a quite huge bathroom with a very decent and comfortable shower as well. The bed was amazing! The second cabin for one person was on the other boat and the room did not had a private bathroom and was localized under the recepction floor - it was not as great as the other cabin, but still it was good. There was an option of buying breakfasts for everyone directly in the reception and it was pretty good as well. It was a really great boat experience!

The only thing that was a quite challenging for us was the great amount of spiders outside the boat. In some evenings it was a challenge to try to avoid them while steping on the boat and entering cabins. But we are perfectly aware that boat is not a fancy hotel and it is not possible to constantly remove all the spiders so I do not find that comment negative at all.

It was our second stay here and we would book this hotel again while coming to Stockholm. If you are up to smaller rooms (or cabins) and you dont mind it, you would find this hotel really nice. It is super close to the centre and for this location, the price is super good. Also there is plus you can tell your friends you stayed at boat.

On our previous visit, we stayed in the upper cabins and we liked it more, cuz it did not move as much. But ofc your are at boat, so it will move. The furniture would use some refreshment, but nothing crazy. The only thing we did not like were fishermen right in front of our window

This is really special place, with very good view. We live in boat nr.3 in on the third floor which is locked with a key, with 2 big windows. There are lavatory in 3-floor. In 2 floor I see many showers, and lavatories. Very big kitchen with all the tools you need, pats, pans, caps, plates .etc. Very food tasty breackfast. Extreamly Freandly staff. I watched as the employee very patiently explained to the woman for 30 minutes how to get there, explained several options, the easiest, cheapest, fastest. A wonderful worker with endless patience. He was working on the morning of June 15 when we had breakfast. I don't know his name, but his sincere desire to help a woman left an impression.

Its a very different hotel experience that was wonderful in so many regards: location, facilities, ease of getting meals after a long day. I really enjoyed the top deck restaurant at sunset. If I wanted breakfast it was available and the view from the cabin window was beautiful. It was quite a novelty staying on a ship & the cabin room was bigger and better laid out than I expected.

I was there for 5 nights so a change of sheets at some stage could have been nice & having my towel changed a couple of time rather than just once would have been great too.
