Excellent management and service! The property is very nice and clean. The kitchen is a plus for travelers who have been on the road for a long time. The free Bern transportation pass saved us money and time while touring the city. We definitely will refer it to our friends and relatives. If we ever come back to Bern, we will stay here again!

Nice room with all the amenities - we appreciated a lot the full set of towels and bathrobes. Furthermore, you can enjoy the entire house since every space is organized by colors - each room has a dedicated color. The outdoor space is very nice too, where you can relax, take a coffee or have a quick dinner. Few minutes walk to bus stop - the structure provides free tickets for public transport for the entire stay! Very clean shared bathroom.

No proper air conditioning in the room, just a standard fan - which is not enough in case of really warm weather. Not very easy to communicate with the lady who welcomed us if you don't speak German. No Wi-Fi in the room.

- Great location for touring the city - Quiet location - Contactless check-in (all details were provided via e-mail) - Free Bern pass provided by the hotel which was quite handy - Clean room, with all amenities provided. - Spacious bathroom with plenty of toiletries provided.

- Extortionate price for parking, but that is Bern for you. You can park outside the hotel free for an hour, and leave the car on the street (in the blue bays) from 6 PM onwards for overnight free parking. - The pillows were uncomfortable. But this appeared to be common theme with Swiss hotels that we stayed in. They were too soft and flat, and I had to use two to prop my neck/head up. - Room felt a little cramped but I think it was to accommodate all facilities in (desk, fridge, beds) - No elevator here. Didn't bother us but some might find it inconvenient.

Nice area - leafy, quiet street. Room was small but attractive, stylish and well equipped, with a good en suite bathroom. Good shower - hot and strong pressure. Balcony offered a pleasant place for an early morning coffee. The administrator whom we met on arrival was very helpful, especially as we'd been on holiday without internet for 3 weeks, so had not been able to access recently sent emails from the hotel. Inclusion of a bus pass into the city centre was useful - bus went from just round the corner. All round, a pleasant place to stay.

Room was a little small.

I liked literally everything! After 5-minutes walk way from public transport (tram No8 from railway station, ticket was included to the price of room) I found myself in front of nice villa in on the quiet street in green district of Bern. It was late, therefore dark and quite cool autumn evening. Motion sensors in the yard helped to find entrance and get first impression about surrounding. My key and room-manual was kindly prepared beforehand and stored in the locker in front of entrance. Behind the main door I found fully-equipped kitchen and small and very comfortable dinning room, lemon-water distributor. Obviously, management/owners of this place have a delicate taste and truly created home comfort in the enter-zone. My room was quite small, but very-very cozy. There was everything needed: iron with ironing board, kettle and coffee-machine with MANY(!) different types of tea, coffee and sugar. Sweet apples and mineral water were proposed for free as well as bathrobe and WiFi, soap/shampoo and lotions. 2 WCs are shared between 2 neighbor rooms. Due to dimension of rooms distance from bed to sink is smaller than in usual multi-room apartments there :) Colors of bathroom towels, as well as kitchen stuff, correspond with color of bed sheets in the rooms, which are unique. Personnel comes to the office around 10 a.m. and provides superior support: all my questions of any kind were solved right away right after booking and during stay. In 1 tram station distance there is a petrol station and supermarket. In couple of kilometers there is a bug park with zoo, in 10 minutes by tram museums, and following downtown. Beautiful city, nice hotel. Once I'm back to Bern, I stay at the same place.

Not 24 hour staff, more like B&B I wasn't paying attention when booking but realised I booked a shared bathroom, which wasn't ideal with this price The room marked with "patio" but was actually a shared patio on the ground floor of the hotel. In short, I was expecting a little more.

Loved the attention to detail and the thoughtful presentation of the room. (tea, coffee, iron, ironing board, sparkling water, comfy seat and footstool etc provided). Colour coordinated towels and crockery are a great idea for shared facilities and mood lighting was very swish!

Pillows were a bit insubstantial and a lighter covering would have been appreciated in this hot weather. (doonas too hot for summer!)

The room was clean and very well appointed and equipped. I enjoyed the balcony. I only stayed a couple of nights and it was perfectly adequate, a short five minute walk from the tram stops. Easy check in and check out. I did not have to interact with any staff members

I'm unsure of whether it's just me or I was sensitive to the detergent used, but I didn't like the smell of the towels. Yes - they were clean. Other than this, there's a step to go from the toilet area into the shower and I didn't realise, so I almost had an accident.

We arrived pretty late in the evening and there was a landline phone left out in case we had any difficulty getting to our room as it was an apartment - this was a great touch for people that may need extra assistance. The rooms were really well maintained and clean. The mini bar was really reasonably priced, especially considering how expensive it is in Switzerland! This place really does go the extra mile, a basket of toiletries is provided to each customer that even included toothbrushes and toothpaste - this was a nice touch because someone from our party had actually forgot their toothbrush! The hotel has a freshly prepared continental breakfast everyday that is priced really fairly. They even bake fresh bread each day for their guests. There is a smoking terrace for guests overlooking a beautifully maintained garden. The location of the establishment is really close to the town centre, trams are available just outside and it takes around 6-8 minutes to get into the town centre. This is the part where I’d like to praise Claude (the owner) personally. Our party wanted to see more of Switzerland via the Goldenline (basically a premium train journey), however it was almost impossible to book this ourselves online because the websites were either in French or German - we also had no idea about how we would actually create the additional itinerary. Claude did everything for us - he booked it all, even created a unique itinerary for us and gave us his contact number in case we got stuck! This was a touch a class and everything was so well organised. We will definitely all be coming back! Thank you Claude for such a great experience.

The garden is lovely. Tranquil setting, birds singing. It doesn’t feel like you are only minutes from the city centre. I also really appreciated the kitchen facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The balcony was a nice place to sit out, and was sunny until around 10.30/ 11am (winter time)

I found the bed a little too firm, but probably that would suit most people. All rooms are off a central staircase, which can be a bit noisy, despite two doors. There were no armchairs, except in the garden. Dining chairs downstairs, an office chair in the room. No sofa or anywhere to relax except the bed.
