It was the second time I stayed at the Hillsite Smart Hotel in Flims beginning of February 2023. My friend and I got a very comfortable room with balcony for a really good price. On arrival in the evening we asked for a kettle which we got next day. The hotel is right at the funicular. There is a heated room for the ski equipment, with extra heating for the shoes. After check out one can leave the luggage there, while enjoying the last day on the slopes. I like this hotel, everthing is very easy.

My friend was missing a restaurant inside the hotel and a sauna too. For me this wasn't important, so no criteria for the booking. There is a steak house just next door and several other restaurants are very close as well. Breakfast you can have in the hotel if you book it in time. However, if you want indoor dining and spa facilities, then this hotel is not the place for those.

Hotel was centrally located and comfortable. Very comfortable beds.

Would be nice have an actual person at the reception to greet guest and gi e info such as how to book the hotel garage for parking.... an absolute necessity in Central Flims. This should be explicitly mentioned in the booking conditions as its an extra 20 bucks a night. The large TV screen was useless as we could not find any programms nor was there reception staff to ask.

Location was perfect, next to ski lifts, shuttle bus stop, "guest card" from hotel was good for discounts on lifts, free shuttle service, and discounts at other locations. The hotel was a smart hotel and everything worked with accesss codes and no staff. This functioned very well.

Room was on the streetside which was very busy with heavy construction traffic. The street is also part of the main road so there was a great deal of traffic all day.

Location is amazing, rooms were a great size and very clean. The remote check-in system worked perfectly, free private parking, welcomed out dog with no charge. Lounge area at the end of our floor (level 3) was a real bonus, we chilled with a drink at the end of the day. Brilliant for ski or summer hiking, bus stops outside the hotel and ski lift 50metres away. There is a fridge and safe, all in all it is great, we will be back.

No air conditioner, in summer it is very warm, meaning balcony doors need to stay open, it’s a noisy road so this isn’t great, especially in the early mornings. Balcony is not ideal for small kids or small dogs, I was a little anxious about our dog on balcony, but I’m paranoid.

All was well organized with the email a few days prior to my travel. Pin code for the room, pin code for garage and entrance. Reception is not staffed but you have all the information you need. Room on the back with balcony, perfect for me and the dogs. Also the gym is a good idea and accessible anytime (although you need to be careful with the noise, you don't want to disturb the guests in the rooms facing the gym).

Dallmayr coffee center is not the best option, there are better vending machines on the market. The garage elevator is a bit scary and the shuffling in and around the elevator is a bit tricky. But of course this is a space saver.

This was one-of-its kind hotel for us. Everything is "smartly" organized. The entry to the hotel garage is drive-in elevator for the car. The check-in process and the easily reachable hosts (via SMS) made our stay pleasent. Our floor had a common cafeteria area, where you find all the cutlery and plates for you to enjoy your Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner. You donot have a dishwasher, so you would have to clean the utensils yourselves. The room size and the views from the room were amazing. The location is right next to the Ski-Lifts and Cablecar station. Stenna Flims, a shopping place and Kino is right next door, and there are plenty of restaurants/grocery stores in vicinty.

No complaints. There might be some noise for the road-facing rooms, only if your keep your windows open. But if you have spent most part of your day doing activities and exploring Flims, you will not be bothered by the sounds.

I like to stay in this hotel when I come to ski in Flims. It is very close to the Arena Express gondola and offers a cozy single room. It suits my needs perfectly. There is a provision for a shower after skiing on the checkout day, which is very useful. The Stenna mall is also nearby, with shops, restaurants, and an excellent coop supermarket. The room itself was clean and quiet.

I was quite surprised when I came this year (2022) to find that there was no staff in the hotel; everything was self-operated. If you needed assistance, there was an emergency phone. This is all. I was also disappointed that the breakfast was no longer served and that the small wellness center they had was scrapped.

The hotel is extremely conveniently located right by the ski lifts, ski equipment rental place, and the bus station from Chur. There is also a restaurant downstairs that's open until late.

We checked out in the morning, but left our shoes and bags in the Ski Raum downstairs. When we came back after a day of skiing, our access code didn't work anymore. Luckily the staff was very helpful, they opened the door for us.

Smooth check in (as there was none 😅). Great location, nice views. The room was great, had everything needed, was clean had enough power outlets and even EU and UK plugs 🤩 the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked good. Really smooth experience overall.

The laptop in the lobby was a bit confusing, especially since the there was a big arrow pointing at it. The welcome sms didn't make it obvious to me that the code entry was directly at the room. But that is a very minor detail as i figured it out eventually.

The rooms were great, the location was fantastic for the lifts, the communication from the team a Hillside was brilliant. They are super helpful, quick and polite. I was a bit concerned that there would be noone there to help us if we had issues, but the method of checking in, etc was faultless. Great job guys - would defintely stay here again next time
