The hotel itself had everything I would hope for in a modern city hotel - large and comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning, blackout blinds and a good strong shower - but the thing that sticks in my mind is how fun it was to play around with the different features on the iPad! The staff were very helpful when I checked in and again when I absentmindedly left my key in my room. I would definitely stay in a CitizenM hotel again as the use of tech made everything so convenient.

My husband is a light sleeper and was woken up by loud music from a late bar or nightclub nearby. I didn't notice it at all while I was sleeping, but I did hear it when I woke up just before 8am on Sunday morning! If you are sensitive to noise, I would not advise staying here at the weekend.

The location was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Very good quality bedding and towels. The room was very quiet (we chose one on the Rue de Rotisserie side). You could get coffee / drinks / food 24/7, although the prices were high. Good fridge and safety deposit box provided in the rooms.

Lack of privacy given by shower / loo pod. The fact that the bed was only accessible from one side. The room was tiny - a bit like a ship’s cabin. The lifts were slow to arrive and the room card scanner in the lift was unreliable. Room service / cleaning was very late in the afternoon. Contacting the hotel prior to the stay was impossible - no email and only a completely useless ‘chatbot.’ Free travel permit wasn’t forwarded three days before stay commenced - as promised.

exceptionally small rooms, barely able to fit suitcases in. also, the breakfast is awful. they charged us for full breakfast as we walked in, but when we walked to get the plates we realized there was no food left. they shouldn't be open and charge people if they've run out of food.

Modern, clean, outstanding central location. Nice breakfast, with coffee quickly made to order. Staff are very competent and friendly. Beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very quiet, and the blackout curtains are seamless.

Rooms are rather small. The king beds abut a wall, so the person on the wall side has to climb over the over to get out … could be a problem for older folks or with mobility issues. The shower has a fabulous water flow and luxurious rainfall shower head plus wand, but inexplicably, no shower pan, so you have to make a “towel dam” under the curtain to prevent the water from flowing all over the floor, around toilet, etc.

Looooooooved the staff, I always smiling always welling to help!! The tech support was amazing (it offers a real human right away) The location was spectacular! The beds were so comfy! Very high tech, everything in the room was operated by the iPad next to the bed (lights + tv + blinds + AC) UK electricity outlet available + usb Water is available (non stop) from the lobby is hot + cold or sparkling

The small rooms,, the bed takes half the room and one person has to crawle to the other side, or when leaving the bed you must jump over the other person No tea kettle in room

The location is prime, very central. The hotel is chic, looks like a boutique hotel, nicely decorated and stylish. The room was rather small, but the technologically controlled lights, room temperature, media and blinds stores are an attraction which more than compensates for the size of the room. We felt like in a space-capsule, it was also very well isolated and quiet. The breakfast was amazing - fantastic quality for the products (fresh organic orange and grapefruit juice, selection of pastries, organic fruits, jam and yogurts and baked bread, Swiss cheese, cold meats + eggs, bacon and a wonderful hashbrown, tea and coffee). An excellent choice for couples. Raluca was also an amazing staff - many thanks for her hospitality!

Nothing to complain about.

The hotel was much more than we could have anticipated. We weren’t familiar with the chain but will continue to look out for it. It was modern/futuristic almost and just seemed ahead of the curve. It was colourful, warm, welcoming without feeling too much. Everything we needed was there and anything we wanted we could pretty much adjust and sort out ourselves through the room iPad. We loved the ability to change the lights. Bathroom disco became a thing lol

The tv didn’t work in our room to allow us access to everything. We asked for support which was immediate but it was just a fault with the room/tv. They Offered free drinks at the bar as an apology which was cool

Modern, stylish, funky hotel like all citizenM hotels. Very clean. Great beds. The rooms are small, but functional (still will be crowded if lot of lyggage). Everything is operated with a tablet and you can connect your own streaming services on a tv I like the way it offers easy stay with little artsy pop culture touch with affortable price. Great concept overall for those who don't need the old school hotel services.

The check-in/-out system in a lobby didn't offer other languages than french or at least I didn't notice. It can be confusing, but you get help with that. It's great that they have a barista making you some special morning coffee, but woud've loved to get a simple coffee machine as well. The staff had very various level of english.

Great location, very modern, fun vibes, great amenities. Very unique lighting. Friendly staff

1) The shower got the whole bathroom wet. 2) The sink was not in the same room as the bathroom. 3) the bed location was inconvenient (could only leave from one side) 4) the atmosphere seemed a bit indecent/promiscuous at times (for example, instead of a normal ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign it said “There is a naked person inside”. It was a bit awkward.

citizenM is an excellent hotel. The location is great close to the lake, to the old town and to shops. Everything is the hotel is of excellent quality. The breakfast is excellent with a delicious selection of Swiss cheeses (my favourite!!!). The coffee is real coffee prepared by a barista. The orange juice is fresh!!! The staff are very helpful.

The size of the room. The rooms could have been bigger. I got used to it after 1 day but the first night was not pleasant. But everything in the room is of excellent quality.
