From booking to checking out the staff had been so helpful. Offering advice on excursions and the travel pass. The location was just off the main travel route from the train station and just a 10 minute walk to the lakeside. The hotel was very quiet and clean.

The hotel was too warm for us. We had to turn all the heating off and open a window. Our room was very very warm and although in very cold temperatures I can imagine the underfloor heating would be great but we found it too hot for us. The room was quite small but did have everything we needed. Would have liked more sundries including milk and hot chocolate powder.

The room is spacious and clean. The toilet is big and tidy unlike other hotels. I also like that it is located near the train and bus station and also some other city attractions.

The staff/supervisor named “Surdine” (if im not mistaken) was exceptional to resolve our concern and upgraded us into another room that is far way better with our original room that has an architectural/system problem. Thank you so much Ma’am and to your management!

1.) Room 102. It has a heating problem. The room is like a sauna because all pipings for heating is highlighted in this room. You don’t want to walk on the toilet area with barefoot because it will burn your feet in less than a minute. This has happened to us. 2.) The female receptionist (Starts with letter L) that checked us in. We complained about the room and after all the checking has been done, confirming our complaints were valid. She just give is this phrase “I’m sorry, its how the room And heating was made and I cannot do anything about it” and left us hanging without any resolution. And that’s the reason why I wrote to booking.com customer service and Ms.Surdine came in to solve it and to apologize in this Receptionist’s behalf.

Great location - easy to walk to everything - great places to eat around the area. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly - very quiet within the hotel. Beds were very comfortable.

I had requested single beds in both rooms as the hotel offered that as a preference. However they refused to guarantee the beds after I had fully paid (with no refund). So I felt it was misleading. However, the double beds were actually separate mattresses so it was ok in the end.

Fabulous location. Close to both the train station & the bus depot where which we used for various day trips. Also plenty of good eating places nearby too. The tram 15 runs nearby too. The hotel itself is in lovely order, very clean & smart. The gentleman at the breakfast area is lovely & we enjoyed the food. The discount available to eat at the Edelweiss restaurant was appreciated, so good that we went twice out of our three day stay!. The Swiss plugs were not compatible with our EU adapters but thankfully the reception lent us an adaptor to use during our stay,

Our room was super hot! With no obvious way to cool it down so we had to sleep with the window open which made it rather noisy. It’s a shame we didn’t get emailed the tourist free transport card before our visit as we had to pay to take the train from the airport,

Everything was very good, especially the Reception staff. Very nice hotel altogether. The bedroom was spacious, well air-conditioned, with plenty of closet and cupboard space as well as adequate flat surfaces for personal items. We were very comfortable. Easy access from train or bus station. Only about 200 metres from lake.

1. Taps in the bathroom had very little pressure. 2. It would have been nice to have the lift go to the garage. We had to lug heavy suitcases up quite a few stairs to Reception. 3. Breakfast was very expensive and the mini breakfast for 9 CHF only entitled you to either one piece of bread or one croissant and coffee. A bit stingy.

Hotel is in very good location - a few minutes train journey from airport to main station then about ten minutes walk. Handily placed for all transportation plus easy walking to lakeside and wide range of good restaurants. Warm welcome from reception was echoed by all members of staff, particularly those dealing with provision of a very acceptable breakfast. Room/bed both very comfortable and we would be very happy to return.

I do not have any complaints regarding any aspect of our stay. Cannot think of anything that would have made any major difference.

It was very convenient for the railway which was great as we had heavy bags. We enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the centre of town over the bridge. The hotel was so clean and beautifully decorated. Everything worked and there were no grotty corners anywhere. Good quality bedding and tea making facilities. Everything was well maintained and cleaned. The staff were all delightful especially Sara at breakfast.

We liked everything.

Room was clean, very quiet and location was very close to the main train station, which I used a lot, and also a short walk from the main central bus terminal. It should be noted that this location is very close to the red light district, and on my first evening there, to my surprise, I was approached by a lady who held no attraction for me whatever. As I was walking through the area each day, I was learning a little more each time.

The hotel itself was fine. Probably not a place for children given proximity to the red light district.

Centrally located, close to the lake and to central station. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff, resolving problems. Everyday cleaning and change. Good breakfast. These were the hottest days, so the air conditioning was like blessing😅
