The location made it easy to get around Lausanne. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though it was rainy, the view from the breakfast room was beautiful.

This is not a dislike, but a suggestion to give better directions from the train station. If we had known to go out the exit nearest platform 8, walk about one block downhill, then turn right, we would have found the hotel more easily and not wandered in pouring rain. There was a very loud intermittent metal clanging noise outside from about 10 to 11:30 at night. It disturbed our sleep.

it was a bit loud around at night, there were all kinds of sounds from birds to mobiles ringing or alarms. so it is definitely recommended to sleep with closed windows. the isolation is good

Very stylish accommodation, excellent position in the city, close to station and metro.

We'd requested single beds for our teenage kids: they didn't want to share a double! The staff said they couldn't give us singles, as they had a tour group in, which took preference over a family. This was ok, but odd, as the bed bases were already two singles which could easily be separated. Although one of the reception staff was helpful and said they could provide an additional set of sheets so we could separate the mattresses, another staff member disagreed and we didn't get the bedding. A shame because otherwise we loved this hotel.

The hotel is a very short walk from the main Lausanne train station and a metro stop, it was perfect for us to get around. The staff were super helpful when our mini fridge was not working and we were looking to store some food in it.

The room was a little small. I did pay a little extra on Booking.com for a room on a higher floor thinking that I would get a view, this is not the case. The hotel is on a hill, so we were on the 4th floor (higher floor), but that was only 1 level up from the street level, so still not much of a view. Had I understood this, I would not have spent the extra money. The bathroom is also not very private with partial see through windows between the toilet, shower, sink and room area. Although some curtains or doors can be closed, nothing fully blocked views between the bathroom and room given the placement of mirrors. My husband and I could get past this, but if anyone is traveling with a friend, they may want to consider this carefully.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times and really liked it. The hotel is one metro stop from the station but you can walk from the station in 10 minutes maximum. The hotel is an ideal place to stay for a few days as you have easy access to the metro station. The rooms are really well decorated and comfortable. I would say they are bigger than most rooms in the area.

Our hotel room was really cold, I tried to get a hold of someone but could not find anyone. I mentioned it when we checked out but nobody apologised or explained why. It was definitely a broken unit as it said the heating was at 25. It was a shame but I have booked this hotel again for another trip to the area I have coming up.

The hotel is super centrally located; just a 5 minute walk from the station or a quick tram ride. The hotel gave us transit passes to use for the city which was great (apparently every Swiss city does that, except for Zurich!). Check in and Check out were both quick and easy. The room was a good enough size for two people and the hotel overall felt clean.

Our room was on Floor 1 (reception is on Floor 3), so we were basically "below" ground. It made our room quite dark.

The breakfast room is on the top floor with a great view over the roof-tops, lake Léman (Geneva) and the Alps behind. Plenty of hanging and drawer/shelf space and somewhere to hand big outdoor coats and rainwear. the TV was of good quality and had a good range of foreign and local channels. I really like this hotel a lot, I have stayed in many hotels and apartments of varying prices in my career and this has got to be one of the best.

(Not me, but some may not like the glass walled shower room and toilet).

Nicely furbished room, felt comfortable - very quiet, Location was great - close to metro and nice restaurants, walking distance to train station, Breakfast room with a fantastic view, but breakfast itself did not convince us.

Breakfast choice missing fresh items, seats in breakfast room are not comfortable (tables are too high), some staff very friendly others could be more motivated...

It's an extremely comfortable hotel to stay in when visiting the beautiful city of Lausanne. Not only our room had everything we needed in terms of comfort, but the location of the hotel is great - close to not one, but two metro stations (one of them also being the central train station).

Only one thing: There was a sort of party going on way past 10.30pm, full of noise, and no one at the hotel did anything to stop that from happening and allowing other guests to properly rest.

Clean, easy access,. Ok for one night.

The rooms are small, we were placed at the groung level from behind the building but it was -3 from front. Halls were very narrow. The windows were closed with steel railing. Even if you open the windows there were no wind coming. For a person like me who starts to be agoraphobic, it was difficult to sleep.
