Funky hotel. Fun decor creating a great vibe for relaxing with a drink from the bar. Nice surprise to get a free drink on arrival. Great location in a restaurant precinct. Short walk to historic centre and amazing street market with the freshest produce (artisan breads cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables and beautiful flowers)

Discounted public parking was a bit too far from property, although we were given clear instructions before arriving on how to get there. As the parking is independent of the hotel, the staff should give more detailed instructions on the payment types accepted by the automated machine in the car park. Noisy when trying to sleep as a motorbike group was meeting nearby (seemed a harmless group having a good time).

I love the quirky design of the hotel. It's clearly high quality being part of the Marriott chain but it feels like a cool modern hotel that's fun and different. I'm already recommending it to other colleagues and friends of mine. I also loved that it was easy to buy some extra toiletries (e.g. toothpaste) on arrival as it's easy to forget these essentials. The welcome drink and the free public transport ticket was also a very welcome surprise. It was also easy to store my luggage in spacious lockers after check out.

Honestly, there is literally nothing I didn't like.

Moxy Lausanne City can be proud of having an outstanding nice, friendly and supportive Front Desk Manager (Maria!). Looking forward to my next stay. Besides this, the entrance hall has a very lively, modern atmosphere and offers a lot of options to the guests to accomodate and to either chill, play, read or work. The hotel offers free and fast WiFi, comfy beds and spacious showers, as well as modern ambient in the rooms. The area around the hotel at Quartier du Flon is offering a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants, mainly aiming to attract younger clients.

During a longer stay, the possibilities for storing clothes in the room are somewhat limited. Despite the modern style of furnishing, the management should consider to provide some space to hang a few shirts or a suit neatly in a closed wardrobe.

I'm not sure there would be a better location to stay in Lausanne. I walked everywhere I wanted to go, including to and from the main rail station. The staff took time to show me how to get around on a small pocketable map they give you -- I used it often. About a kazillion restaurants within a 10 minute walk. You can walk to the cathedral. The hotel is a little funky and unconventional (by design) which I think is fun. I'm 58yo but Marriott has obviously designed the Moxy properties for the 20-30yo travelers ... but that makes it more interesting for me, particularly when I travel alone. There is more of a social scene "downstairs" by the combination check-in/bar/restaurant area and it's easy just to hang out there for a couple hours with a book or your laptop and have a drink or eat or just enjoy chatting up other travelers. I really don't feel other hotel franchises offer such a design.

Really lovely hotel. Great location right in the city centre. Beautifully designed, stylish, and modern rooms. Lovely lobby with space for business travellers to work. Very kind staff. You get a voucher for a drink at the bar, which is nice.

A bottle of water or a kettle to make tea or coffee in the room would be nice. If you arrive late at night and all the shops are closed already, it's a bit disappointing not to even have a bottle of water in your room for the night.

We really enjoyed the location of Moxy and the friendliness of staff! It was a perfect stay for a few days in the city of Lausanne! The smart TV was also a great feature!

It would be nice to provide a kettle and some services in the bedroom to ensure guests can make their own tea and coffee as this always makes a place feel more cozy!

The location is terrific! Several restaurants and bars within walking distance. The metro is an easy walk and will take you to the train station (one stop) or down to the Lake (stunning). Our room was clean and quiet. Staff could have been friendlier/more helpful especially since I have Marriott status - but it wasn't a big deal and didn't impact our trip or stay. The free/included breakfast was generous.

The decor is unussual and very well done it gives a really nice mood to the lobby and the rooms. The staff is lovely and since it was very warm greeted us with a drink before doing the check-in. Room was comfy and calm, and the hotel is conveniently located to walking distance to downtown ( warning, it's switzerland, everything is sorta on a hill, so from the train station it is pretty uphill)

Nothing really, it was a nice spot

The modern design, the indirect LED lights, the fact thar in the shower was even a hair conditioner besides the shower gel, the fact that the offered a free transportation ticket and thst the offered 50% discount for the Indigo parking lot.

No refrigerator in the room. Me and my friend had a bag of cheese from the countryside that had to stay at room temperature the whole stay. I understand that most people do not need a refrigerator, but I think it shoul be at least the option for this in the booking process.

The location is great. It's in a hip quarter with a lot of restaurants and bars. The hotel is quite, clean and modern and the staff is friendly and very helpful.

It would be great to have a water boiler/coffee machine in the room as well as a small body lotion. At one night there were drunk people in front of the window screaming propaganda like slogans which was disturbing.
