Location is amazing, by the lake and walking distance to the train station. Also a bus stop is in front of the hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. I asked for an extra blanket and I received big, fluffy blanket that kept me warm. When I was booking it stated “room with street view “ but we had a terrace available with table and chairs, also with a view to the lake.

Such a great location, with lake access. Also close to the train station, which made it easier to travel around.

The bathroom in our room was very small; in the room was no furniture besides the bed, so all our belongings were on the floor. And the airco! It’s mounted under the window, right next to the bed… impossible to use when you’re sleeping, it’s blowing right towards you. And I’m sorry to say, but the breakfast was quite limited in what they offered. You had the option to order a warm breakfast (payed extra), but then the kitchen was closed.

Excellent Location particularly for onward travel ( we were in transit) and made a mid afternoon online booking for 1 night stop over. All seamless . Staff very thoughtful,helpful & friendly Cleanliness Food excellent

Mattress quite hard for our tastes Lack of pillows ( 1 each) But scraping barrel for “ gripes” we really has no complaints.

Staff are excellent, loved the balcony of the room, the view of the water at breakfast is gorgeous.

There is barely any parking. About six or seven very small stalls, and they're usually completely full all day long. You have to go search elsewhere for paid parking, so the "parking included" really shouldn't be listed.

The beds were quite hard. (Some people like that) A second pillow per person would be very nice.

We actually reserved incorrect days (reserved for a day later than planned) but the staff were super friendly and accommodated us and made changes appropriately. Made the whole experience easier given we were traveling with kids. Great service and experience overall. Fantastic location.

The location is fabulous and the staff are super friendly. The food was superb and we enjoyed the views from the terrace in this quiet corner at the lake.

Our room with a lake view, was half the size (room 205) as our friend's (1st floor) and we paid the same price.

Fantastic location right on the lakeside in Melide - beautiful views and well-furnished rooms that are comfortable. Friendly staff and a lovely breakfast rounded out the whole positive experience. Even parking spot reserved by name upon arrival - that's service!

While staying at the Lac Hotel we found the room was very comfortable with a great view of the lake. The breakfast had a wide variety of food options.

The elevator didn’t go all the way to the assigned floors.
