the view of the room was so good , we took a good room at -2 floor it was really nice view with garden , spacious room and clean provided with nespresso machine , free parking

restaurent was very expensive , breakfast was 35Ch for one person which is not value for what they have at the buffet , staff at reception not really helpful , no one can help y with luggage

Gorgeous room with stunning views, and really clean. The hotel is on beautiful grounds. I had a massage - it was exceptionally good!! The therapists name was Dayva (apologies for incorrect spelling). The staff were very nice and helpful.

The breakfast was a real let down - the food did not seem fresh on either morning. While the hotel is beautiful and clean, there is unfortunately a stale smoke smell in some of the lobby areas due to the smoking bar. This was a real pity.

The hotel location is great. Situated higher up and over looking the lake. Easy walk down to the water front and back up again. Funicular is a short walk from the hotel and worth a ride. The best thing ever is being able to open the patio and bedroom doors for a most welcome breeze, especially at night time when hot and worn out from travelling…..the cool breeze lulls you to sleep. The Breakfast was very nice with good coffee. The Cigar Cafe Room was full of character and a delight to have a relaxed evening meal with tasty nibbles served before our meal….which was a Club Sandwich which was just tooooo much for one person to eat. Maybe they could offer a small & a large size to choose from….but delicious,! The Terrace dinning food was delicious and sitting outside overlooking the water made our stay special. ALL the staff were very welcoming, helpful and chatty…..even the stunning Abyssinian cat was welcoming.

The bedroom is a bit cluttered and tired. The curtains were too long in the bedroom so maybe shorten them to tidy the room up.

Very nice hotel - the room was comfortable and very clean. Very nice bathroom. A/C worked well which was great since it was so hot when we visited Lugano. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The coffee maker was fantastic in the room.

This hotel is not near downtown Lugano...it's a 30 minute walk to the downtown area. This hotel is difficult to get to from the train station because it's a fairly long walk and a very hilly area -- very challenging with luggage. We ended up taking a taxi back to the train station at the end of our stay and the cost was 30 CHF for a 5 minute taxi ride. While we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet options, the large doors were open in the dining room which allowed many sparrows to fly around inside the dining area and they would eat the food off your plate and stand on the edge of the coffee/tea cups which we didn't like at all.

the bar had magnificant views but was extremely expensive. we wanted to move to another table because 2 guys next to us were quite noisy and the waiter said at an arrogant tone that this was a table for 4 and not possible. crazy because the 2 people next to us where also sitting with 2 at a 4 person seat and the bar was almost empty so more then enough space. No effort was done to offer us another seat as well. our room was at the ground floor/souterrain and our view was a parked jeep. no value for money. I dont ‘mind paying around 250 a night but at least give a decent room for that money

Excellent Room layout and facilities. Loved the room and ensuite layout. Incredible Shower. very comfortable beds / great Pool.

location on a hill so if travelling by train and walking…. be aware that it’s an uphill climb! that’s not great with luggage. if driving in or taking Taxis everywhere then ok.

The view of the lake from the hotel is breath taking. The location was great. next to the train station. Few minutes from lake. surrounded by nice restaurants (walking distance) .. The staff were super helpful and nice. The breakfast was amazing ! Quality and variety of food were phenomenal. add to that the view on the lake when enjoying your breakfast. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Balconies on the lake is a great thing. worth every penny spent.

Very nice and surprisingly pleasant hotel. Very clean and a very functional hotel - nicely set-up and focused on its hotel guests. The staff was very helpful and nice. The location with its view is great. And finally they had a big parking area for free which was very appreciated.

Not much except that the evening food at its Brazilian/Japanese restaurant could have tasted better. The staff and the restaurant ambiance was nice but the food itself was a negative experience

I reserved a parking space in the garage. Unfortunately the places were not numbered, so when I arrived I had some trouble to find a space to put my car. I would suggest to assign a numbered space to those who reserve (and pay for) for a garage place. For driver who use a Navigation System: make sure that you put <Paradiso> as the city and not Lugano, even if Paradiso is just a suburb of Lugano.

beautiful location, stunning views from the terrace and the restaurant. very comfortable relaxing stay, the interior is welcoming and in good order. felt like at home :) breakfast was delicious and good variety with great attentive staff. reception was absolutely outstanding and exceptionally helpful and friendly, informative. thank you for allocating a beautiful suite for me and my sister :) it was the highlight of her trip x will definitely be back
