The manager was so accommodating for me and my fiancé. He really went the extra mile to make our baby moon special. The staff are so friendly and I was surprised they use a valet service so after a long evening I could ask if they would park our hire car for us. The view is spectacular and it’s 10 minutes from central Lugano.

There’s no gym and the breakfast is great, so we found it difficult to burn off the extra calories ;)

We enjoyed the Double Room with lake view and terrace/balcony. Comfortable and with nice design. Large and very comfortable bed. Big bathroom with rain shower in the bath tub. Breakfast and restaurant options were very good. Very friendly staff and eager to help. Thank you for the 2nd room upgrade.

TV is located at the other end of the room from the bed point of view and behind a mirror which causes reflexion. Design against functionality. Due to the TV location in this type of room, the next room TV is right behind the wall over your bed head. Not the best considering the sound proximity.

FIrstly the staff is absolutely amazing. They treat you as a king, not a very common experience in that area. Rooms are modern, clean, AC and WiFi working great. I assume we met a hotel manager - superb attitude, attention to details, pulled out all stops to make all our wishes come true. And now the view - view alone is worth the price. From our room we could enjoy views of Lugano city and San Salvatore mountainm trully breathtaking. Ask for dinner deliverd to the room, enjoy amazing quisine from your balcony while soaking in the serenity of Lake Lugano and nightlights of the city.

Was hopping for the room to be slightly bigger and if possible ask for a room with the walk in shower. Also not the biggest fan of bathroom doors, which do not provide sufficent privacy.

A great and warm welcome was provided by the incredibly attentive Mauro. The whole team radiates positive energy and the highest level of hospitality. Aperitive delivered to the room was accompanied by delicious and well-presented snacks. Thoughtful attention to detail by the staff from the beginning to the end of our stay. Very spacious and comfortable room.

The pillows are a bit hard.

Location of the hotel is great in a quite area with some restaurants nearby. Its in Italian soil within Switzerland and about 15 minutes drive from Lugano. Room was spacious with amazing view of Lugano lake. Staff were attentive and helpful.

Although rooms' sizes and view are the same but the 3-5 floor rooms are classified higher in rate. Breakfast was not impressive.

The staff and hotel should be at the top of your list for recommendations. So thoughtful and kind in meeting our expectations and needs by helping us locate our missing luggage at airliner. Nothing was ever a problem in serving their guests. Restaurant served gourmet meals and a delicious and extensive breakfast buffet. No problem sleeping: the room was extremely quiet and restful with a delightful view of Lake Lugano from our balcony.

The staff at the hotel were exceptional from the point of arrival until the departure. They were highly attentive and highly skilled in their designated areas of customer care. It is the hotel staff that made our stay a really pleasant one and this stood out for us. The lake view was lovely - albeit over the road - on a sunny day and calm evening to enjoy.

The breakfast was not matching the 5* hotel designation. Whilst the range was great, regrettably the hot breakfast was never hot. Having stayed over the three nights, the best we could label it as 'tepid, lukewarm' which was simply disappointing. Also, the quality and range of cold meats and breads was a bit basic. Although we were given a choice of the rooms, we opted for a slightly smaller one which had far better views - of the range of the lake views available - however the room was still on a smaller side, considering the costs of the accommodation overall.

Amazing location, great view and nicest staff! Seamless check in and check out. Everything was taken care of for us. Breakfast was great and great coffee too. Our room included the spa but we didn't plan for it so we couldn't enjoy it but I'm sure it would have been great! Overall comfortable room with all required facilities included. Really nice and speedy room service.

Details, but I like when windows and glass bathroom doors are cleaned thoroughly - could improve there I suppose.

Very good and friendly service from check-in to check-out. All staff (especially Manuel) where so kind and friendly and offered immaculate service. Restaurant was small and cosy with the choice of outdoor and indoor seating and again - fantastic service with foc snacks accompanying your drinks ... Great food as well - can recommend the wagyu steak - delicious. We will for sure be back to visit and look forward to this...

The location is pefect to enjoy the lugano lake and to have visit in Italy at the como lake. The hotel itself is located in Campione d'Italia, a beautiful town but unfortunately it has become very empty and you'd find only a few people. The town seems sad and is incomparable to lively cities like Lugano and Como.

We chose this time a room without a lake view and we really regretted it because the view was nothing outstanding. When we stayed at the Grand Hotel Campione we made a better choice and had a magnificient lake view. All in all, the hotel stays among our favourites and we will definitely return.
