Property is mainly a religious retreat space and rooms are rented out between events. The place is well-managed and rooms are individual with bed and sink (showers and toilets are common but we never had to wait). Property is good for people looking for a quiet and serene atmosphere. It is a quick drive to Lake Geneva and a lovely, meandering countryside drive to Gruyere for the chocolate and cheese factory tours.

We had no issues and everything was as expected.

Beautiful building and nice surrounding, very friendly staff. The room was simple but sufficient and I had all I needed for one night. WIFI is not available in the rooms (on purpose), only in the public areas.

Only suggestion for improvement that I have: please put a mosqito net in front of the room windows. Since there is no A/C and it was a warm evening, I opened the window and had to deal with about 10 mosquitoes during the night. That woud be worth to invest and guarantee a safe and quiet sleep.

Breakfast was good, the muslei was great, the view was very calming.

As advertised, there was no wifi, TV or phone in reception on. Places where there you could link up we’re limited. We brought a picnic and we’re asked to basically leave the property (or go to room) to eat it. We were told not to eat on the terraces or tables on the lawn.

Beautiful location, beautiful building . Reception staff were so helpful, lending me a plug, when i mistakenly ‘believed the internet’ that my Euro adapter would work

Some of the roads the Satnav took me , (via motorcycle) were pretty hairy!

Excellent place to go into retreat by yourself. Not a typical hotel you expect, but still if you’re looking for a place to stay in serene, quiet and beautiful place to be alone for a night or two, I highly recommend.

+ wonderful surroundings + silent, peaceful + super clean + sink in room (shared shower/toilet) + well-prepared for my arrival, self check-in after 17h30, with an information brochure explaining everything

It is very nice place, good view. Quiet and nice staff.

We only got 1 set of blanket, pillow & soap while we booled for two.But it was not a big problem. We did not want to bother staff as it was already late.

The place is very beautiful and quite. I was able to rest in the nature. The staff at the reception desk and the cafeteria are friendly.

The room is hot due to the hot weather.
