I loved the breakfast in the morning because it offered vegan options. I liked the facility too with the ping pong tables (indoor and outdoor), the foosball table, the sand bowling balls, and the water and fruit offered after hours. Unlimited coffee drinks are only available until 11am. The room was clean. The price was CHF47 that night I stayed. They have an Xbox/yoga room on the third floor. It is a 10 min walk to the train station. They have a small frig, hot water maker, and microwave available.

I wish they didn't charge CHF 3 for hot water from their coffee machine, but there is a hot water maker above the microwave. Be prepared to pay the city tax upon arrival of CHF 4.40.

This was such a lovely hostel, particularly if you are travelling with children. We found Switzerland amazingly baby-friendly, and this hostel was no exception. There were loads of families with young children when we stayed, having masses of fun in the playroom. If you don't have children, it's still a great spot. Friendly, comfortable living area with an honesty bar; great spread at breakfast. Saanen is a beautiful town and the rail/bus connections are very convenient.

Cot was broken and uncomfortable- but we didn't complain so it's possible there might have been a replacement

Relaxed feel, super clean, high quality minimalist accommodation. Perfect for travelling with my children (ages 8 and 13) who loved the freedom to play - especially table tennis and pétanque.

I do not have a “didn’t like” just an observation and it was not a problem but the rolling guest demographic during our stay seemed to be predominantly older generation (retired age) and the children had hoped for other children to play and interact with.

Fist of all, great location, the facilities are very well maintained, its clean and cozy. The staff is friendly and always ready to help/assist. Breakfast is exceptional and this would be the best value for money place to stay in this area.

There was no option to clean the bicycle in front of the entrance or around the building as well as no places to lock the bicycle outside the building.

The room is clean and comfortable. Window view is so nice and the temperature is all right. Breakfast is good. There's a beautiful church and it holds Gstaad Menuhin Festival there. No cars here and good for walking. The staff try their best to help me when I arrive lately.

Someone plays table tennis and close to my room. A little noisy but fine. There are some mosquitoes. It's a small town and a little inconvenient, however, it's really a charming town and I want to visit again.

The design of the hotel and the price of the stay. Very easy for children. They had a game soace for them to play. Very well located close to beautiful places to visit. People in the hotel were very nice in general.

I liked everything. :) Maybe the shared bathroom is not something liked by everyone but they were very clean and also empty.

Well designed modern building that kept cool even in a heatwave. Plenty of floor and storage space in our twin room with private bathroom. Spacious reception and dining areas. Coffee machine and cold drinks. Excellent as a Youth Hostel, but not up to a hotel standard as regards bedding/bathroom. I liked the evening meal - provided at a very inexpensive price (though my husband wasnt so impressed). Breakfast buffet was plentiful but not luxurious. Bike storage was a lower level, where skis were stored in winter. Staff were wonderful, and spoke excellent English. We left a garment behind and they posted it on to us.

Our room was totally overlooked by the next house and was without net curtains for modesty!

Modern, well equipped hostel Good food

I was allocated a mixed dorm. But when I arrived, the lady in the dorm objected (understandably). It took the receptionist a long time to arrive at the obvious solution - give me a new room. The hostel was after all pretty empty.
