Elena, the receptionist, was very very charismatic and helpful and just made me and my uncle feel so welcome. Its the first time I have had a rapport like that with the hotel's reception and it was all down to her. MVP at the Larix she is - give her a payrise! Other things that are great about this hotel are its location (its the nearest to the bottom of the the slopes (ski in/Ski out), its the nearest to the ski lift that serves the most and best parts of the mountain, Plattjenbahn) and its vibe (it has a bar and seating area outside where it seems the whole of Saas-Fee end up after skiing, but they close at 7pm so you can be assured you'll have a nice nights sleep and be fully rested for skiing the next moring).

Nothing, it was a perfect stay.

Location was excellent! just beside the nursery slopes and there is a brilliant warm ski room - pick up skis and step out to the nursery slopes. The ski schools meet outside the front of the hotel. the breakfast was wonderful - buffet of cereals, fresh fruit salad, breads and croissants - all served in a lovely restaurant with views out to the mountain. so lovely. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels - really homely and cosy and good size. There was everything we needed.

It was really disappointing that the restaurant was not open in the evenings for meals - we would have happily stayed in and eaten there some nights. it was closed the entire duration of our stay. When events are on at the bottom of the slopes the noise travels - there was a big race on the second weekend of our stay and a large tent for after party and it went on from the afternoon until early hours the next day. I really couldn’t get to sleep it was so loud, I lay till after 2am with music booming. This was not from the hotel but external event but it was so close and music so loud that it did carry. Just a word of warning!

Location is excellent, almost on the slopes. Clean room and kind staff.

Considering the price of the stay it would be great to have: - a richer breakfast in terms of choices. - a tidy and well prepared breakfast buffet also towards the end of the breakfast time slot.

Location was excellent. For us it was more board in but walk out to the main lift station. The Felskinn was closer but we preferred the other which was only a few mins walk. The food hut served great kebabs at lunch and the Apres bar was really but can get very busy at the weekends so you need to get there a bit earlier to claim a seat. Party street was only a few mins walk away and thankfully its a downhill walk back to the hotel! Breakfast was ok but could be more to offer on the hot side of things as it was just bacon and eggs. Good selection of continental items which is to be expected.

Bit more hot breakfast selection and some porridge would be great!

Lovely warm clean and comfortable hotel. We were given an upgrade as it was quiet due to covid and had a spacious room with views of the mountains. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable bed and had a bath which was fab for after the skiing. Delicious breakfast with hot and cold food options, all fresh with a dairy free milk option for me. We were delayed on arrival but they were there to pick us up from the bus staion with a friendly face. Fantastic communication all the way through. As restrictions were unstable they were so helpful and understanding getting back to us with any concerns. The hotel was a few steps away from the nearest cable car and ski in from the home run. Also ski out to the practice slopes which are just outside the hotel. Next door to the ski school and ski hire.

Only 2 suggestions. A kettle in the room would be good as there are no facilities to make a cuppa. Also, the pillows were very soft but I could have asked for another, but the bed was extremely comfortable.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, from the pick up at the parking with the hotel shuttle and throughout our stay. An amazing surprise was a great band perfoming live on the hotel's bar terrasse for the après-ski ! The hotel location could not be better, a true ski-in ski-out experience.

location was very friendly, cosy and with family stile. And all of the staff people was so kind and helpful! It was a pleasure beeing there for a couple of days!

Very loud noise from afternoon party. Also the lounge downstairs was closed too early, it needs to be open until at least 10 PM

absolutely nothing, unfortunately they had to close the outside apres ski bar due to staff shortages off with covid but is just the sign of the times! location is excellent positioned at the bottom of the slopes
