High quality hotel, excellent room comfort, good spa, great bar and restaurants, rich breakfast, very professional and friendly staff, all in a great location.

Atrociously wrong music almost everywhere in the hotel. Seems like the radio is stuck on 80s pop everywhere you go. The super stylish and classic bar begs for some good jazz, but no, you get 80s pop. The reception begs for soothing music, but no, you get 80s pop. The bistro begs for something inspiring, but no... It's a common theme in Swiss hotels, I find, but at the Einstein it hurts the ears and spoils the experience because of the painful contrast with the high quality of everything else. Furthermore, small detail: toilette paper in the wrong of very low quality, in dissonance with the high quality of everything else.

- excellent location, close to historical part of city and shops - bistro open to late hours (convenient if it’s Sunday and local restaurants are closed) - really helpful staff, who are local themselves and gave us great recommendations - good choice for breakfast, authentic local food was also there - comfortable bed with a choice of different cushions - nice silence in rooms

- quite a walk to the spa facilities

Room was of decent size, I didn't book the higher priced ones, so I was satisfied with the room I got

The door to the room is not soundproofed and I could hear the staff and other people walking in the corridor, especially as my room (116) was near the lift. The furniture and fittings were fine but I would have thought that the doors would be fire rated

Great location, easy walkability to places in town, University.

For the level of a hotel, I was surprised that the rooms were not equipped with better coffee machine (e.g., Nespresso). Instant coffee for a 4+ star hotel seems a bit unimaginative...

we spendere 2 nights and brought our little puppy which was received very positive.The reception even offered a dog bed😀 Location is very quiet and absolutely central to the old town and the monestry. Room service is recommendable

We had advised reception of our late arrival after 23:00 which was no problem at all. The room was spacious, the beds very comfortable and we liked the large walk-in shower. We didn't use other facilities as we had an early start the following morning.

Beautiful, modern hotel. Good location on the edge of the old town. Comfortable, spotless room from which we were upgraded to a suite because of a problem with our bathroom. They even transferred our bags. Cool bar. Excellent breakfast. Ate once in the hotel’s bistro which was okay.

Not much. We were disappointed that we couldn’t eat in their Gourmet restaurant which was booked up days ahead.

Room perfect for a two nite stay, breakfast super , lots of options & location also perfect, very central and at same time seperate from city noise, easy to find & shopping very close by foot. Staff friendly and helpful.

Took a moment to find the spa area as long corridor with very little signs to show guests where to go , also at time of stay, repair work was being done on roof over pool,felt very dark. Missed having an outdoor lounge area,altough Bistro had a few tables outside it was right beside the road.

Everything! The location, the cleanliness, the comfort of the beds, the amazing breakfast. We took a full day to enjoy the fitness and wellness area and loved it; the massage was worth every penny.

There was a misunderstanding about the closing time of the fitness/wellness area. Apparently they closed 1h earlier than what was stated on the info sheet in the room. It wasn’t really a problem for us though.

location was great, staff friendly and helpful and the Bar Just AMAZING! The bar is an art, Congratullations!
