Apartment Dependence location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town around the corner from the Abbey. Very spacious apartment: 3 bedrooms plus an extra bed in a small sleeping area meant we all had our own space. Big modern bathroom, great water pressure, kitchen well equipped. Secure and safe with direct lift access using a key. Beds were very comfortable.

Lounge was uncomfortable and only big enough for 4 people when the apartment sleeps up to 6 people. Pls buy a new lounge!

I was pleasantly surprised from this property as I travelled for a conference. The property is ideally located between the Abbey and the Einstein conference centre , both just a minute walking. The hotel is in typical traditional style, with wooden roofs and well equipped kitchens at every level. Breakfast was good and staff was very helpful.

The room was very clean and in a great position in the old town. Everything was totally renovated even though the building was from the 16th century. One of my favourite hotel rooms ever!

No lift up to the reception desk or good signage telling you where reception actually was , in the main building.

Lovely small hotel in perfect location. We had two of the larger rooms and they were particularly nice. Very friendly staff as well.

The only things that could have been better were the breakfast buffet and a lot of street noise at night for the room that faced the street. The breakfast buffet was pricey which would have been ok if it had better options. It was a true dissappointment.

The hotel was beautifully appointed, our room, though small, had everything we needed, and breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is right beside the main attractions of the town - cathedral, abbey museum and famous library, and there are good restaurants nearby. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The only thing lacking was a comfortable seating area, such as a lounge or bar area. But we were aware of that, and there were plenty of places nearby which made up for this.

We liked everything about the hotel. Centrally located, parking near by, extremely clean. Didn’t have breakfast for lack of time in the morning. They offer complementary coffe or tea and there is a vending machine. A charming place to recommend

The room was spacious and with a pleasant view. Bed was comfortable. Location couldn’t be better as it is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral and heart of old St Gallen

Worker was replacing wallpaper in hallway at 7-8 am and the scraping sound which I thought was from a snow shoveler outside was too loud.

A lovely room with a combination of modern and antique pieces. There was a sitting area and a desk. Nice breakfast. VERY clean hotel. Great location in old town St Gallen. Parking near by.

There was a half staircase you had to climb to reach a lift. The only storage for luggage was lockers. Otherwise everything was quite nice.

Even though a small hotel, everything was done beautifully and so clean. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay very much.

The cups etc available for tea and coffee were often not replenished during the day and the cups were so small!!

Perfect location for a visit to St Gallen.Very comfortable beds and a large nicely decorated room. Staff very helpful one phone and through electronic communication

Noisy air conditioning (it was unusually warm the 2 nights we were there). The same? staff were polite and nice in real life but at the same time we felt they behaved slightly patronizing towards us. (Could it be cultural differences and language barriers?)
