We used Thun as a base and stayed with Muna and Lucien for a week with family. Muna and Lucien were very warm and hospitable and were great hosts. Also the location is great. Right in the middle of old town with the train station just a 5-7 mins walk and Thun castle behind. Having an attached kitchenette with the room was very convenient as well even though it was shared. Would rate it 8.5 stars overall.

The room was a bit on the smaller end but to be fair it's comfortable for a couple rather than a family of 3. The shared bathroom was slightly uncomfortable and was small esp for anyone over 6 feet. Besides that the noise from the street esp on the weekend did keep us up for a couple of days.

Muna and Lucien were perfect hosts. I was due to arrive later than the specified check-in times, but they said that was no problem. Then my train was delayed an hour. Lucien was at the front door to greet me as I arrived at 22:40 and carried my heavy suitcase up 7 flights of stairs. (Don't stay here if you struggle with stairs. It's 8 stories high). Their place is an old narrow tall shop in the middle of the old town - full of character. It's a minute's walk from the river-side with lots of bars and restaurants - very lively. I woke up to a stunning view of the Stockhorn over the roofs of the old town. I had to leave early to catch a train and they provided an excellent breakfast at 7am. Nothing was too much trouble. I would love to visit again.

This place is not a BnB. It's an island of incredibly tender love and care disguised as a BnB. From the moment I was received (4 hours b4 check in time) to our 6 am goodbye the next day, Muna was an angel of hospitality I've never seen in 35 years of travel. She absolutely insisted that she would serve me breakfast at 6 am despite my urging her not to do so. And she makes the best cup of tea I've ever had in my long travel history. What can I add except that Lucien stands like a rock of support for her. Thank you for making Thun unforgettable!

It's in old town. Very special. The owner is very friendly. I arrived earlier but she tried to assist me and all the time. Thanks so much for help. It provides kitchen and you can cook here. It provides traffic card, too and you can take bus for free. You get the card even before you arrive. Good to eat breakfast in a garden. Enjoy it. The best one is electric fan! So comfortable.

It's an old department. A little noisy when someone walks. There's no elevator. The washroom is small and share. However, alles gute!😉

I had a wonderful stay at Chez Muna & Lucien. It is a very special guest house in the middle of the old town of Thun. I particularly enjoyed the personal attendance of the owners Muna and Lucien who made my stay there very comfortable. Muna prepares a delicious breakfast, lovely presented, with homemade products, all bio quality. I will definitely be back there for my next stay in Thun.

Muna and Lucien were lovely hosts. They provided an amazing vegan breakfast (on request for one of us), and the regular breakfast was wonderful, too. Charming house with beautiful art, in the centre of Thun, and an easy walk from the station. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely go back.

The house is tall and narrow with many stairs to our room, and we had large bags - but Lucien carried up the heavy one (and actually offered to take both). The fan in the bathroom was noisy and we didn't understand how to turn it off, but it's easy once you know.

Muna and Lucien were extremely kind and nice with me and my daughter. They cared about every detail and made us feel as comfortable as possible. They even got some toys for my daughter so she could have something to play with during our stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options to choose. The location was perfect, the place was cozy and warm. I highly recommend this place 😊

The place is located in the old town. While the building has a bit of an unusual structure, it is nice to have breakfast on the side facing the old walls of the city. The owners are very nice and friendly and want the guests' feedback to improve the place.

I prefer private bathrooms, but since there weren't too many guests, there was no problem with having a shared bathroom. As the building is very narrow, there are lots of steps. Parking is nearby, but it is not included in the price.

The hosts are super-nice and will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The location is simply perfect. Very charming historic building. Great breakfast, too.

The room descriptions were not crystal-clear. There is nothing wrong with the rooms, but it was not obvious that every room is sharing bathrooms with one other room. It is a historic building with a lot of stairs.

Loved our hosts. They were warm and helpful. Loved the generous and delicious breakfast. Loved the location. Our bedroom was beautiful. Useful kitchen which was very well equipped. Free tea and coffee with English tea! The bathroom is shared but you need to realise this before you book.
