Spacious (over expectation), modern, near central, taking bus from Thun HB around 5-7 mins to hotel , I got castle view from my single room, The interior & restaurant area is nice.

there's noise from street but it's not much bother, i am fine with that - I can sleep.

The very traditional house sits between a row of modern buildings. Not what you expect. But once you‘re inside you feel the charm of it. The rooms have been nicely refurbished while keeping the traditional touch.

Well, the restaurant was closed on Sunday evening.

Very nice staff, they allowed me to park my motorcycle in front of the house. Good communication, easy self check in, good breakfast options, coffee, juice and different types of bread, amongst others. The room was clean and the bed comfortable.

Although my room was advertised as a Tiny room it was far from small. Ample space and a very comfortable bed.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it offered parking but there was no mention about having to pay and it was expensive.

Emmental is in a great location with super friendly and accommodating staff. They went out of their way to provide both gluten free and vegan breakfast options. we also enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening. The country and western theme downstairs was really fun.

Very nice staff and comfortable room. Views from my room were nice and this is a convenient location. It is next to a busy traffic circle, so sleeping with windows open would be a challenge. The breakfast is fine.

Great size room and a lovely big comfy bed. We loved the food and drink facilities outside the rooms provided for guests. Also the breakfast was great, the staff very friendly & it was a bonus that it was also a bar where we could enjoy a drink in the evening.

The room was a little noisy sometimes as the hotel is on a main road

Very convenient close to river. Room had small balcony with exquisite views. Staff very friendly and helpful.

No lift may be a problem for some and no A/C but left window open and was fine for me.

It was hot at night and the small fan in the room didn’t work. There are very few power outlets.

Farther from center than other choices. breakfast start at 8 seems late. Bed was ok but pillows fairly flat. It was stuffy but we had a small fan in the room
