Very nice and calm hotel surrounded by nature with amazing views. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. It is at a walking distance from the shuishe visitor center area with restaurants and shops, but they also arrange free taxi transfers when you come and leave the hotel. The breakfast was good with a variety of chinese food. The room was spotless. They best thing for us was that they let you borrow their bicycles for free for as long as you wish and the beautiful bike path is right next to the hotel.

Tina, from the reception team was amazing. She made our stay at Bamboo Rock Garden Sun Moon Lake extraordinary. She helped us in all our needs and demands diligently and always with a smile. Moreover she speaks English as native, making the communication super easy. I love my hotel room balcony view that faces the bamboo garden and lake view, very quiet and serene, away from the bustling city living of Singapore. The male hotel receptionist (cant remember his name) is super helpful, he help me book the MPV driver Mr Tai, and even get Mr Tai to pick us up from the Shu She Pier Starbuck to the hotel, pick up all our luggages before we travel to QingJIng farm, very thoughtful of them. That save us time to walk back to hotel. Kudos to their good working attitude ! Remember to book Mr Tai, the MPV driver, he is really friendly and helpful, reasonably price, nice car, very knowledgeable about the various tourist spots.

Amazing view, the breakfast terrace was very enjoyable, quite a way to start your day, nice service, we were invited to a firefly tour that was great, the kids play area in the lobby was great for our kid. It is really a bamboo garden and I love the pines in front of the terrace. We wish we could stay longer.

The building feels a little worn out. The overall value was still very good, I believe.

a lovely, quiet place to stay when in Sun Moon Lake. the staff were helpful and the room was large and had a lovely view of the lake. it’s a short walk out of the center of town but walking by the water as we made our way back to the accommodation from dinner was a really nice way to end our evening. they allow you to hire bikes for free. there is a a wide variety of food for breakfast. highly recommend.

Quiet hotel a bit out of town. The hotel has bicycles that you can use for free (they are good enough for the 2 kms to the town, but I wouldn't use them for a round the lake tour.) There is a bus stop a few min walking from the hotel. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff was really helpful.

The lake view was mostly obstructed by the trees in front of the hotel.

I got a room with a balcony and a view. The view was excellent. The room was also well equipped and the bed was super comfortable. The hotel also provides free bicycles which you can use to cycle to Shuishe or surrounding tourist spots.

The hotel is a little remote, other than that, it was excellent. That said, its easy to get a taxi to get from Shuishe to the hotel and back and Shuishe can be reached by foot in 10 to 15 minutes.

Great location, nice building. Exactly like described. Turned out to be eco organisation which i liked. You can make walks in the direct surrounding. Would have loved to stay longer. They also offer guided (butterfly) walks, which i would have loved to do but i only had one day. Besides, i agree with all other positive reviews already given here by others

I love the room and esp my room views. I could look out through the balcony at different time of the day -to witness sunrise, sunset, after rain and before the climate changes. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Those morning & sunset walks so....unforgetable.

Melissa and her team looked after us really well with personal service. The room (#208) was large with a balcony overlooking the lake. The bathroom was great with a lovely hot shower. Beds and linen were all nice. Breakfast was hearty.
