- Location: Langi Langi is a great hotel directly located at a beautiful beach, probably in the most beautiful part of Nungwi. In high tide, you can directly get to the beautiful water. The center of Nungwi is a 5 Min. walk away, other restaurants located at the beach are also nearby. The place is calm and perfect to relax but also near to the busy places around. - Room with seaview: We got a roomupgrade to a room with seaview (room Kidude) which was absolutley incredible, the room was clean, had an AC, a vent and a fridge. We had Wifi most of the time. The sunstes viewed from our balcony were absolutly stunning! - Restaurant: At this beach location it seemed to be the only restaurant to also offering local food, besides to „western“ specialities. The food was delicious and fresh! We tried a lot of other restaurants and Langi Langi was our favorite, although some meals were sometimes not available. The breakfast is à la carte with a good variability of dishes. We also enjoyed the seaview from the terrasse. - Staff: All staff members are very kind and attentive. The transfer form the airport was organised by the hotel manager and went with no problems, although we arrived at 03:00 a.m and left at 01:30 am. The manager is always around and willing to help with any kind of questions. The restaurant staffmemebers are very kind people.

- The music playlist: the music played at daytime from the restaurant consisted mainly of european „hits“, we would have prefered more local or other african music/artists. Sometimes there was a reggae playlist, which was way better than Coldplay :)

the location is good, not too big not too small, the room was beautiful, the view was 10/10. pay more for the tumbatu room, it’s the best just beware that there’s no actual beach beach at the hotel at high tide: there’s like a deck you get into the water from, but it’s nice since you have much more privacy and no trespassers are allowed. low tide is okay, do not stay anywhere that’s more towards the north than Langi Langi - the water goes way far back and it smells. Langi Langi was perfect even at low tide although we never swam during it. - never got to swim in the pool, but the dwarf deers were cool

- I guess the bathrooms could be renovated but they were clean and the cleaning crew came in everyday and they were nice - the WiFi could be improved - I’m not sure if it’s still a problem but when we stayed there the horse tours were taking place right by the hotel.

Nice hotel at a great location, right at the beach (though we prefered Royal Beach, about 200mtr south). The garden room is pretty basic, but serves its purpose and is nicely located in the peaceful garden, which comes with a clean pool, and is also the home of some dikdiks. Breakfast was alright. We also had lunch a few times, loved the pizzas!

The beds were very short (we're both 1.65 and reached the footboard!) and came with thick/hard pillows - though that was the case in every Zanzibar hotel). The AC quit working one night, which resulted in some tough hours. They fixed it first thing in the morning. Wifi was a bit spotted. A waterboiler and some tea/coffee on the room would have been appreciated.

The drive to it has you worrying as it roadways are a bit rough and there’s quite a bit of rubbish. I don’t know why the hotels and resturant that use the same road (and there must be a few) don’t team up to clean the road so you’re not walking over flattened plastic bottles.

the suite room with the balcony on the 2nd floor gives you the astonishing sea view . it is the tallest building in the area and the only on at the shore. the management is very helpful in organizing excursions and the owner Rastaman is the absolutely sweetheart- a former drummer for the famous rock band he was in 80 countries and has some stories to tell

absolutely nothing but beware of the monkey that comes to steal the food even inside the room

Rasta the owner has created a little wonderland ..with amazing lush green enclave with few free roaming domesticated animals on his property. A boutique feel and staff are very helpful and welcoming. If you wish to experience true Zanzibar warmth and welcome...then Langi Langi is the place. True to Zanzibar culture, emphasis is on hospitality and to make guests feel welcome rather then on pure commercial gain. Will surely come back...

Stuff was very helpful and always with smile, we trust them and booked private island tour and it was cheaper than others and we really enjoy there... the other thing is the breakfast was simple but it was enough.. location of hotel was great. Our room was at first floor and we really like to try there again 🙂✌🏻

Towels sometimes was not clean but when we ask them to change, they changed it immediately. Also swimming pool was good for kids

The Langi Langi Bungalows are located in the perfect place in Nungwi. Right at the beach, near to the village and next to most of the restaurants and bars on the seaside. If we would travel again to Zanzibar, we would choose this property again. We booked garden view bungalows, but luckily we have been upgraded to a huge sea view suite. We were extremely happy with this room, so if you can afford it, I would recommend to book this type of room on a higher floor. It has a balcony, from where you can watch every day the sunset, and the sea is almost just below you. The garden view bungalows must be also very nice, in a more relaxing environment (looks like a jungle) with a pool. There are some small animals in the garden, which are super cute. The breakfast is served on the terrace of the restaurant, overlooking the sea. Egg dishes are served (the service can be a bit slow) but the other elements are served buffet style. The restaurant is open all day, and you can reach the beach right from there going down the stairs. You can make long walks from morning to evening on the shore and visit as many restaurants and bars as you wish :)

We had some challenges with the WIFI. It was not always working or not everywhere. The bed (mattress) was not so comfortable, but we were very tired every evening, so at the end we had no problem with sleeping.

Mostly all is good. Only thing dont order salad in the restaurant (food in general very good) its a big joke for 15 000. 3 slice tomato, 3 slice cucomber and 5 small Alices avokado 😂
