Everything was better than expected. Staff is very polite and helpful. The dinners were just amazing. The options of buffet plus different beverages ( different processador of course) is really great. We were there for almost a week and each day they had something special (seafood and meat bbq, Pad Thai, Mongolian food). Breakfast was also really nice with loads of variety. Pools were amzing, Massage was great for a very affordable price. They offered entertainment in the evenings with Thai typical dances, pyrotechnic shows. Good to see a place with that standard that do not offer overpriced services/food/beverages! Excellent job! 👏

The only unpleasant situation was that we found a tiny piece of plastic in the lasagna. Nothing major but not nice! You need a car or hire private driver services if you wanna visit something nearby.The beach itself is very nice but very shallow. Good for kids!

one reason why we went there was the surf break but a) there was almost no waves (check the season) and b) renting the surfboards was quite expensive, just like almost everything in the resort we had a pool hills but the water was so full of chlorine that it was almost unusable.

Booked the room just because of the resort location next to the surf spot, all the facilities, food and conveniency made it a wonderful experience. Definitely looking forward to come back, highly recommanded

every single thing. never ending list. they even went over the top to create last minute beach sunset dinner with special setting. usually they said it’s 3day notice in advance but they managed to do everything in just few hours.

Very hard bed. Although the immediate beach area was clean the surrounding beach was a real let down, covered in plastic and other rubbish. Breakfast was a bit of a let down.

Our stay at Apsara was wonderfully relaxing. The resort is well kept and we had stunning weather considering it was the start of the raining season. The food and spa was wonderful and the scenery is so serene.

There was a small hiccup at check in regarding our transport from the airport, this misunderstanding was sorted during our stay and was mainly due to the reservation staff being away for other duties (which meant my emails weren't responded to). However, because of this misunderstanding, we didn't get the warm welcome we were hoping for, and instead we received questions and accusations were made to indicate that we were at fault. It wasn't a pleasurable check-in experience at all and no mention was made of this during our stay. I decided to take it up with the hotel manager on duty (Emee) and it was sorted in an amicable way, however, I would have appreciated communication from the hotel's side to rectify this misunderstanding.

What an amazing resort! Set in an idyllic location amongst the forest and right on the beach. We stayed in a two bedroom villa with private pool and absolutely loved it!! Khoa Lak is a great part of Thailand and perfect for families. And the staff were equally amazing! Would recommend this resort to anyone and would definitely go back.

it has been 5 years since we last visited and we saw some amazing changes which really added to our experience. The new restaurant/bar area was fantastic. a nice place to sip a cocktail and eat a delicious wildfire pizza, whilst looking out at the ocean. The fire show that the resort puts on once a week was amazing. The best we have seen in Thailand. Our swim up room as usual was so great. It’s definitely worth paying the extra for this. As we are returning guests we were invited to a sunset cocktail party on the roof top which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Cocktails, beers, wine and canapés were supplied. It was great to speak with the staff in a more relaxed and fun environment. Breakfast was also much better than we remembered. Lots of variety!

If you like surfing and waves this place is for you. The hotel has very nice territory directly near the beach. The breakfast was amazing. It is a little bit far away from the city, but with rented car or taxi you can reach everything in 10 minutes. The sand beach is almost empty all the time.

Only filter coffee on the breakfast, for cappuccino or latte you need to pay extra. The drinks in the restaurant are really expensive. Take a short walk to nearby restaurants where the shakes and cocktails are twice cheaper.

Spectacular place with great facilities and amenities. Starting with the breakfast which will satisfy anyone is nothing short of a 5 star city hotel. The pool is great and I loved the slides and jacuzzi functions - super fun to explore. the location is right next to the surf spot where my gf surfed day in and day out so it was great to come back to a fantastic hotel. Special mention to the pizza restaurant as I am a big fan of La Peppina in Bangkok and the restaurant has the same stone pizza oven from Naples!

everything was exceptional to be honest, the only thing maybe was the price of the bottled water and the taxi service to the airport which were really expensive. Most hotels now have refill stations so that would be a definite plus for them.
