Jip and her daughter are the kindest and warmest people I met during my entire holiday. They really go out of their way to help and accommodate you. For example, they give great advice on activities (they check in with the guests afterwards and they only book with those guides/companies/accommodations that are good value and good service) , they helped organise convenient and good value transport, and they even gave me a dry bag for my trip on the lake to keep! They really take the hint to respond to ask questions and requests. Jip also cooks delicious food, which you can have at the cosy restaurant or on the lovely veranda by the bungalow. The bungalow had all I needed. Temperatures dropped quite a lot at night so the fan was fine for me. The yoga studio is right around the corner. It is a nice and quite spot, gorgeous garden, with only 20-30min walk to the town. I rented a Moto and loved driving around the gorgeous area. The hosts are honoust, hard working, and helpful. Could not recommend more!

10 points are not enough The location is, as the name says, on top of a hill with beautiful views. The clean bungalows are excellent with a spacious terrace to sit and enjoy the view and in the morning the sounds of calling gibbons. You can use mountain bikes for free. The service from the mother and daughter who run the small-scale resort (3 bungalows and 3 tents) is unbelievable. It's worth more than 5 stars. Everything is arranged for you to perfection. The food that the mother cooks tastes delicious. If you like quiet locations with top service, don't hesitate to stay here for a few nights. And don't forget to book a tour with an overnight stay in Khao Sok National Park. It is an experience you will never forget.

This place is amazing. The family that operates it are so friendly, helpful, hospitable, and just wonderful people! The area is beautiful and peaceful with nice views of the rainforest. The restaurant makes delicious food and is a nice place to relax with your morning coffee. Also, they have the sweetest loving dog named Dougie :) This is one of my favorite places I've ever stayed in Thailand. I will return for sure!

Jip is the sweetest hostess we have ever met. She helped us to make a good plan regarding a tour and the transfers, which she also booked for us (you help her also by booking via her!). She cooks the best food and makes the nicest fruitshakes! Also, she gave us many extra things like icecream, candy and fruit for our journey. She also bought vegetables which we could bake at the campfire in the evening whilst standing under a sky full of stars. They recently built tents on bamboo poles and we stayed in them for 1 night. This was at least an equally exciting experience as sleeping in the huts on the lake. Also very budgetproof :) We also slept in one of the huts one night, which was really comfortable as well! You will have a wonderful time when staying at Jip's resort, in the tents or the huts!!

Absolutely nothing!!

Can't recommend this homely place enough. The three bungalows are a few kilometers away from the main town, but that's the charm of it - it is a peaceful recluse with jungle vibes. Views of distant rock formations are accompanied by gibbon songs. We were picked up by the owner from the transfer drop off and taken care at every step - very good value breakfast, packed lunches, dinners as if made by your mom, recommendations and organisation of trip to the lake and hike to the jungle, complimentary deserts, making of a bonfire - all with a heartwarming smiles and laughs. Thanks for the great stay!

The location is worse that I thought. You can go for 100 tbh to the Village but I didnt want to Bother owners all the time. Also, they gone to the city for a few hours and i didnt know how to call a taxi so I needed to go by myself. Of course I knew it was a bit far but with these temperatures is a quite walk, Just to information

We absolutely loved our stay at Khao Sok Hill Top Resort. The place is great, the view is amazing, it is very quiet and a perfect escape from the busy little town. We were welcomed by a wonderful Lady (Lom) and she took such great care of us during the whole time. Her cooking skills are great and with Jip they planned all of our activities (night safari, lake trip and overnight stay, transportation/transfer etc). Once we checked in, everything was organized for us which is a massive +. We will definitely come back to Khao Sok and stay there again.

Jip is such a wonderful host and helped us throughout our stay! She organised a lake tour and jungle hike for us and she was always happy to pick us up from the town. You have stunning views over the jungle from the balcony outside the room and because the hotel is quite remote, you can really hear all the chirping and animals at night. Seeing the fireflies at dinner was a personal favourite!

Coming back from a long hike and not having air-conditioning was a bit frustrating, but at night the fan did the job and we even had to move the fan off us because we got too cold! Bring mosquito repellent and long, thin trousers because you will get bitten (this will happen everywhere in Khao Sok though).

The hostess and her daughter were super friendly and so nice and welcoming. She makes the best food and took such good care of my friend and I. We slept in the tents which was way better than expected and super cozy. The bathroom was clean as well. She also helped us with booking our trips in khao sok and also our trip to our next location. Definitely let her help you if you want to book any trips. It is very social as well.

Staying in Khao Sok Hill Top Resort you can get what cannot be bought. The host - Jip is the kindest person, with open heart. She will make sure you stay is comfortable and full of adventures. You can ask her to arrange trips with a guide in the National Park. I highly recommend one day boat trip and one day trekking in the jungle. It is not regular touristic resort with a pool and air conditioner. Hill Top resort is a good fit for people who are looking for real Thai countryside atmosphere. Homemade food, beautiful mountain view, lemurs songs in the morning, hammock on the tree. We will miss that place, people and the cat <3 I hope we will get back one day!
