The hotel is beautifully presented and every member of staff is courteous and helpful. We had a Club room which was very nice. It included access to the club lounge which offered breakfast alternative to the full buffet on the ground floor. I also had cocktails and finger food in the evenings and coffee and nibbles 24/7. The hotel is in a very good location, being central, and is also close to transport links.

We specifically chose this hotel as we had eaten at the Goji Kitchen in 2019 for Sunday brunch and dinner and it had been superb. Sadly, the pandemic seems to have forced them to reduce the offering and the staff. In 2019, there was lobster and pan-fried fois gras. This time there was large prawns and pan fried scallops. The Sunday lunch was still very good but it just wasn't as good as it had been before. The midweek dinner was a big disappointment. The food was good but not special. The staff were greatly reduced and the one waitress we had seemed to be permanently flustered and trying to wait on too many tables.

The rooms were beautiful, very luxe and super comfortable. The bathroom was also beautiful, loved the mini bath, great for bathing my 5 year old. The double beds in the twin room we had were so comfortable. The buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever experienced - and certainly the largest. The selection was incredible! The pool was also beautiful. Everything about this hotel was luxe 5 star. The location was perfect. Walking distance to major shopping malls and also a lovely park with a kids playground. Lots of massage places on the street, and a fantastic shopping mall at the end of the street that has super cool designer shops and a fantastic food hall. I’ve been to Bangkok 8 times and stayed at many 5 star hotels, and this one was the best with the best location. Better than the Banyan Tree. I will definitely stay here when I return.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

"The hotel lobby is luxurious and beautiful, the breakfast is amazing with a variety of dishes from different countries, and the rooms are clean."

The hotel's two swimming pools are quite small, and the single sofa in the room is quite old. I lost some of my cosmetics during my stay at the hotel.

The room was nice and I liked that the toiletries were all organic based. The location was close to many foot massage parlours and the accessibility was good. The breakfast spread was really good to see but not to eat for us we could only consume halal food. The hotel staff was friendly and caring. We experienced an emergency and they were kind enough to check on our status.

The breakfast had a wide variety but unfortunately it was not really catered much to Muslims. There was one small corner with some Indian dishes but there were limited choices. It will be great if there is a halal corner for Muslims. Pastries, waffles, french toasts were really tasty. We loved the spread but did not have many options.

The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The check in was smooth and fast. I would like to Thank Siam Tea Room for coming up with the little Birthday Surprise. And as usual their food was nice. The staff in Siam Tearoom were excellent and pleasant.

The breakfast menu was the same, everyday. Could have had better separation and control between the hotel guest and those who were there for company events. The F&B staff at the breakfast counter was rather rude and confused between hotel guest and those guests who were there for company event as well. The location of the hotel is a abit far from the shopping district.

Best buffet breakfast I have every been to, in any country. It's huge, larger than life, and has an amazing range of cuisine to suit any taste. Would stay again just for the buffet breakfast experience! The customer service is excellent, from concierge/reception to restaurant to housekeeping. The lobby is beautiful, and in combination with the staff creates an awesome atmosphere.

Had the worst cocktail I have ever had, in any country, at the rooftop bar. This is not an exaggeration, it was undrinkable - had to send it back. We only stayed for one drink on the rooftop because of that. Cocktails served at another restaurant at the hotel were drinkable, but average at best. A shame, because the alcohol service did not meet the very high standard of food. Room was tidy, and well designed when they were last renovated but starting to show some age. Some mould/mildew in corking in bathroom. Pillows as standard on the bed were also ridiculously saggy/floppy, but the staff quickly replaced with firmer more usable pillows on request.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have done a fair bit of travelling in luxury hotels over the years and this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The breakfast was unbeatable, because they’re catering for so many from all over the world they have everything available. The staff were always helpful, friendly and going above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. Keng in particular was really helpful in organising our bags and getting us a taxi to the airport. The facilities and restaurants are all top notch. The prefect place from which to explore Bangkok!

As the largest hotel in Bangkok (1400 rooms?) they often have to deal with hoards of guests passing through which can occasionally feel slightly overwhelming, but the staff are incredibly hard working and good at handling them all whilst still ensuring they give you personal attention which is to their credit.
